If you are looking for things to do in Bruges, this is a nice museum to visit. It doesn't take very long to see the collection as I was able to do it in under an hour. It has a very nice collection of Flemish art with Jan Provost's "Death and the Miser" being one of my favorites.

This museum is small but worth the visit for some hidden gems. Van eyck and Bosch are here. We did have some trouble finding the place, but we're glad to dip in for a little over an hour.

Despite Brugge heaving with tourists this museum was a quiet oasis with the paintings set out in pleasant surroundings with plenty of space and time to view the them. Disappointing that the Bosch painting was not on display which was not made clear on website though it was not mentioned in this years general tourist information leaflets

The Groeninge Museum is small, but its exquisite collection of Flemish masters makes it one of the world's 'don't miss' art museums. It takes less than two hours to give it its due, but its rewards stay with you for a long time afterwards. The Flemish primitives, as they are known, have nothing primitive about them. If some members of... More

This complex of historic buildings contains a small but important art museum. Yes, there is one Bruegel currently on exhibit and it's worth the price of admission.

Certainly worth 2-3 hours of ones time. The display halls are spacious and air conditioned. We found staff knowledgeable and helpful. The entrance fee was reasonable. I was not so aware of Flemish artists and the Gallery focuses on these, so we were somewhat enlightened. There are information boards throughout the Gallery that were illuminating and interesting.

This is tucked back from the main road but you follow the many signs so not hard to find. There is an impressive display of Gothic and Renaissance Flemish art and the Van Eyck Madonna with Canon etc is one of the key attractions. Less impressed by the more modern exhibition. You cannot follow the room layout without backtracking but... More

Visited here as the Museum we had set out to visit was closed for renovations. Wasn't allowed to take my handbag in, had to leave it in a locker. The painting I had really wanted to see was on loan, and the staff were very brusque. Quite disappointing really, not really a museum, should be titled as a gallery as... More

This museum has some beautiful pieces of art, but it's a very small collection. I cruised through the museum in less than a hour.
