This little museum is a comfortable one hour plus stroll around the artistic history of Belgium. The Bosch is stunning with the centre piece being in shades of grey. The layout of the museum is logical and very pleasing to the eye, a masterpiece in its own right. Friendly welcome at the door and a place to leave all your... More

This is definitevely a wonderful museum. You can enjoy the many and rich old-masters Flemish masterpieces, from Bosch to van Dyck. The museum is surrounded by gardens so you also enjoy arriving to this museum. The shop is lovely, it offers really interesting collections of books, and the lady in charge knows much on Flemish art (we asked her on... More

Loved the Ellen Harvey exhibition. The exhibits are well displayed and are a good mixture of different styles.

Staff not very friendly. Worth a visit to see Van Eyck and Hieronymus Bosch work and more. Ticket gives entry to other museum.

Great for Art lovers. Some very interesting and beautiful pieces by Flemish Artists. Much bigger than I expected, and your ticket also gives access to a seperate gallery with more modern art pieces too.

Though not a fan of the Flemish Primatives myself, I would still recommend this place to anyone who is. The Museum is packed with well known pieces and is tastefully laid out.

If you're a fan of the Flemish masters, you'll definitely enjoy this museum. I really enjoyed how each period was separated, and each gallery had an explanation of how the art had changed, and how the artists accomplished the effects. It wasn't very crowded, so you could really look at the paintings without feelings rushed or claustrophobic like many other... More

Am happy in any art museum but this one was very well laid out and easy to see. Not all to my taste but that's academic.

Small museum but with some very notable pieces including a wonderful Van Eyck. It efficiently walks you through the Flemish masters historic evolution.

Some fine artwork from the 15th Century onward, and amazing to see how little Bruges has changed over 500 years
