If you are a fan of old masters - don't miss it. Certainly one of the highlights of Brugge. A good place from which to escape the crowds.
A great collection of Flemish art, its just lacking descriptions which would make it that much better
In and out in 10 minutes, a few paintings here, a few Van Dyke and Van Eyke but very sparse, not worth the €8 entry fee. We got ajoint ticket with the history museum, should have got the beer ticket instead

Wide range of art covering the period from 14th. century to the present day displayed in well arranged galleries. Information regarding exhibits in multiple languages. Bags cannot be taken in to the museum galleries but lockers and a managed cloakroom are available.

Agree with most earlier comments. One or two great highlights. Sequence of rooms helped but I would have liked some more background on some of the religious paintings. Like who is saint Ursula?
