Seeing the Madona and Child was grand. The church was welcoming, unique and easy to walk around and to find in town. Despite the crowds, it was quiet and respectful inside

Here you can find the Madonna and Child by Michelangelo and the tombstones of Mary of Burgundy. It is currently undergoing extensive renovation but it has retained it's medieval charm.

Went in there because its free but chargeable 2Euro on the other side. Cant say much as nothing much to see. The only impressive wooden stairs that catch my eyes. Only took 10 minutes for a slow walk in n out

This church is very interesting. While it doesn't have the "glitz" others have it does have a Michelangelo sculpture, the Madonna and Child. This is a remarkable piece of art. Knowing of its theft during WW-II and it's return adds to the feeling you get when you stand before it.

Be aware that building work at the moment means you get to see very little of the church. They've reduced the price but there's not much to see until work is finished.

We love churches but this was very disappointing, it's in a bad state of repair they charge you to get in but it's for the arty bit inside which is confusing as to get in the church is free. Only in there in total about 15 minutes!

The exterior shows a variety of architectural styles-very interesting. Inside you need to pay to see the famous Michelangelo Madonna and Child. There is restoration work going on, so payment was reduced on my visit :-) Loved hearing the church bells ring, and the tower is lit up at night. Lovely!

They are doing renovations, but we got a discount on admission. Well worth any price. Michelangelo's Madonna and child is beautiful. Since on our trip we were limited on seeing this type of sculptors we enjoyed it very much. The church itself and paintings and other works are interesting also.

Famous for the Michelangelo "Madonna and child" this is an amazing piece. Don't miss out on this church pay the 1 euro extra and walk around the back side of the chapel.

Founded in the 13th-century, this massive medieval church has a 401 ft. brick steeple, the tallest in Bruges. Its most celebrated work of art is Michelangelo's "The Madonna of Bruges", a white marble sculpture of the Madonna and Child created around 1504.
