En-route from the coach park to the town centre, Diane & I passed through (we were on a tight schedule so didn't have time to stop awhile and explore). We vowed to revisit Bruges and this will be on our agenda! Clean & quiet - lovely!

Peaceful and romantic - like much of Brugge scrupulously clean and well maintained - watch out for bikes though.

This is a very pretty place to walk through and take time to think. Unfortunately too many visitors don't take note of the numerous signs requesting silence, but it is generally very quiet. Go into the beautiful church in the yard, even if you are not religious like ourselves, you still can get a great sense of peace and a... More

It was fascinating to discover a little of the history of the origins of these communities that were prevalent in this group of countries. They comprised religious women who did not fully withdraw from the world. In the 1930s Benedictine nuns established a monastery here. The enclave is lovely. The whitewashed houses around a well-maintained green are outstanding. It was... More

So peaceful and pleasant. The church is a surprise plain on the outside but lovely on the inside. Have a quiet walk around the quad and listen to the silence which many of us never get much of.

We had a walk around the main courtyard and looked in the church. Very tranquil. Interesting church.

This was a beautiful peaceful place to visit and had a very spiritual feel. The daffodils in spring are beautiful and we loved hearing the sung mass in the church

Quiet, peaceful, but no seats & no reason to linger. Said it all, but I have to pad out this review to the minimum 100 characters

The shade trees, lawn, modest surrounding buildings and simple chapel remind one of the virtues of a simple life. The nuns' chapel service is open to the public and is chanted a capella.
