Been here before but always like to come see the serene grounds and old church. Holy and quiet spot for reflection!

If you could have the feeling of same-same when walking around the old town, you will agree that this scene is a true place that you have never seen. It is a religious area but still lively. The rows of leaning trees in the middle garden are so picturesque. They are in contrast to the white houses behind them, all... More

I visited the Beguinage early in the morning and found the surroundings extremely beautiful and serene. The Begijnhof is surrounded by the Minnewater park with lots of swans. There are 2 entrances to the area. The building is still in use so be quiet. I visited during the autumn and the grounds were covered in fallen leaves. The buildings are... More

Really beautiful and interesting place to see, and right in the main market square. Great stained glass and wall paintings - and it's free too. Worth the extra 2 euros to visit the museum.

As may be expected, the place is very quiet, beautifully kempt and impressive by design. Once inside you will find its spirituality almost tangible, even if you do not see anyone else around. Do not forget to pay a visit!

We were there in April and the whole place was awash with daffodils. It is a very spiritual place without feeling religious. A great place for contemplation. Unfortunately there was nowhere to sit and be at peace.

this is one of my favourite part of Bruges,. Of course there can be many tourists there but essentially it is a very peaceful solemn place. In the little church we heard the sisters saying their prayers in unison and I found this very moving.

Don't miss this special place. Very interesting indeed. The ambience was tangible. We are going home to read more about it.

It is different from the one in Amsterdam - close to Minnerwater. / Diferente al de Amsterdam, cerca del "Lago del Amor" con los cisnes
