This is a beautiful medival city. Most people get around on foot as there are many narrow streets. Look out for the bicycles and horse drawn carriages--they have the right of way instead of pedestrians. Expect to spend a day and take your time. You will do a lot of walking. More

Had a brilliant time on this mini cruise from Hull to Zeebruges followed by a day trip to Bruges . We stayed at a Hostel a short walk from the Old Town and within walking distance of the Railway Station. The Old Town is absolutely stunning. We visited the Information Centre and picked up a self guided walking tour booklet. This turned out to be a really good way to see the place and we definitely got to see more... More
