I have been a few times on the Hull to Zebrugge Ferry as part of a deal which included travel from Glasgow by coach, overnight on the ferry, coach into Bruge and then the same coming back. All at a very reasonable price from Caledonian Travel. This time I took my daughter and took the meal deal which gave us... More

Went to Bruges (Belgium) on The Pride of York - P&O Ferry..from Hull to Zeebrugge. It cost £220.oo for two people sharing a basic outside cabin. Amazingly, this included a buffet dinner and breakfast!! I drove to Hull and parked just opposite the Ferry Terminal, It cost 14.00 pounds for 48hrs parking (Not Bad) and went through the check-in and... More

The mini cruise from Hull to Bruge was great value and well organised. Even entertainment was thrown in. The food, we paid extra for at dinner and breakfast, was plentiful, tasty and good value (soft drinks and hot drinks included). The coaches - also included in cheap price - took us close to the centre. Bruge is beautiful! The climb... More

The winding cobbled streets and the horse carriages bearing Christmas visitors were great to look at and the markets, swans, churches and Cathedral well worth a visit. The only real highlight is the statue of Madonna and child but the whole city is beautiful and certainly worth a visit.

We took a mini cruise from Southampton to Zeebrugge on the Queen Mary 2. We wanted to avoid the ludicrously over priced official bus tours which in any event drop you 20 to 30 minutes walk from the centre due to traffic restrictions. A quick web search found taxi Giovanna. We phoned her. She spoke good English and after a... More

Went to Bruges for the Christmas Market - it was awful. Hardly any stalls which could be described as Christmassy unless you count the many many food and drink stalls. What was on sale mostly consisted of tat - there are some fairy lights and an ice rink but don't go to Bruges expecting to much. Beautiful city and worth... More

Did a mini cruise from Hull to Bruges, travelled as a family with a toddler. Got an excellent deal on our room and coach into Bruges. Found the room to be satisfactory and the en suite facilities were surprisingly better than I expected. We got the same cabin both nights so meant we could leave luggage in our room. The... More

Have just returned from a mini cruise on the Oriana from Southampton to Bruges (2 nights) A day trip to visit the Xmas market for which we paid £40.00 extra to be delivered there by coach from our ship. One of the top ten places to visit for Xmas markets according to a woman's magazine. No" wow factor" It did... More

I have every empathy with 773SJB, I have got returned from Bruges on the Aurora, they don't understand customer service. Most staff aboard were over attentive and kept asking you if you anted a drink, when there were so manny of them circling in amongst tables, you could not fail to attract one if you wanted to order.Conversely when it came...
