Now, I'm not one for taking part in blatantly touristy attractions, but my wife really wanted to take the boat ride around Bruges, so I joined her on the trip. It was actually quite an interesting trip, with lots to see and hear about (from the informative pilot). It passed a pleasant half an hour so. Highly recommended.

The boat tours are a fun way to spend between 30-40 minutes touring the canals of Bruges. They really try to fill the boats up, so be prepared for lots of people in a small area. Also, if there are children on the tour or if there is a lot of other noises it may be hard to hear the... More

When my family and I stayed in Brugge for a couple of nights stay, we did the classic canal boat tour on a sunny late morning. The guide was friendly, funny and helpful; helping my dad get in and out the boat with crutches. The tour was historical and beautiful. We were spoken to in English and part Dutch, so... More

In this tour you can see all of Bruges. Although there was a long queue, it was worth waiting. The canals are amazing and the scenery is great. We took great pictures.

The second time we have taken this tour. A nice trip around the waterways of Bruges on a very crisp but dry day in late december. We were sat at the back of the boat and could not really here the commentary made by the driver, but to be honest it did not really matter and the whole family enjoyed... More

Honestly if you ever visit Bruges, please do yourself a favour and join on of the boat tour. it really is money well-spent! (I think we only paid something like $7-8 euro per person). the tour gave... More

8 euro for an adult ticket and a seated waiting area. Good for family's too. The boat was nice and stable. We saw some really nice building and the driver gave commentary in French and English. We drove past swans and ducks. It was interesting, relaxing and enjoyable.

Meh. It was January, so the regular one hour tour was cut down to 30 minutes. Plus the speaker only brought up 5 different insights, so not very informative. Nice perspective on Bruge, but wait until the summer and go on the long tour -- in the winter it is just not worth it.

Cheap tour. 30 minutes, wonderful views, bits of information. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Bruge!

We did this trip on a freezing cold morning (they scraped the ice off the boats before we got on!) and found it to be a great way to see some of Bruges from the canal. For only 7 euros you were out for around 45 minutes, with a guide who spoke in several languages pointing out the key sites... More
