This tour was included on our Globus visit to Brugge. The canal is not as extensive as Amsterdam but passes some wonderful buildings and under some very low bridges. The boats captain was very informative about the history and the buildings passed.

Having just a few hours to spend in town we walked around the square and then opted for the canal boat tour. The tour is about 39 minutes and offers views that you may not see otherwise. Contrary to what I have read in other reviews our guide was wonderful. He inquired what languages were spoken and then gave incitful... More

It was a pleasurable experience traveling in the boat tour. They cover most of the city during the tour. It costs 8€ for half an hour. But the only drawback was the English commentary given was not clear and hardly audible. So we were just looking around the beautiful place without any information about it except for the places we... More

This was a fun little tourist thing to do. The boats are jammed full so hopefully you are not claustrophobic. You see some nice architecture and it is nice to just be on the water for 30 min. It is not too $ either so that is nice.

We then retuned and took a motor boat trip round the canals. It is strange - we had never done tis before, despite 3-4 visits to the city. This was pleasant, interesting and good value for money. After the port silted up in C18 the once very rich city went into decline. Then it discovered tourism in the mid 1800's... More

There were no queues when we took a lunchtime boat trip on a beautiful, sunny day. We were glad to have our jackets, however! Our boatman was a cheerful person who entertained us in French and English, having ascertained which languages his passengers spoke. His commentary included anecdotes and jokes in both languages - no mean feat! We had a... More

A weekend away lead to a quick stop in Bruges. Undecided what to do in Bruges, a group of adult friends made a quick decision to take a canal boat tour. It was a nice sunny day and seemed like a good idea. 8 Euros for 30 mins, hardly a bargain but not outrageously expensive either. (Children are 4 Euros)... More

This is a nice way to see the city from the waterway. It is informative but is obviously restricted to the waterways which means you don't get as much information as that from a carriage ride. It is however a lovely way to while away a sunny afternoon.

On a bright breezy morning with not a cloud in the sky a boat ride is a good way to while away 30 minutes. You see Bruges from a different perspective, showing wonderful architecture, and pretty vistas. A must do in Bruges.

We loved the boat ride cost 08 Euro adult and child 4 euro. 4 years and under free. You can pick up boat from many different position, try to choose quiter side to pick up the boat as you can have more space in the boat due to less people in the queue.
