The most contemporary art studio in Brugge. Koningen's art is boldly expressive with movement and texture. Svein and his partner Dianne welcome visitors to the studio which is housed in a 16th century Flemish gentleman's residence, a Herenhaus. The studio is open from 11am until 6pm most days but check the web site for location, parking stations are within a few minutes walk. The studio is in the centre of Brugge very close to the Cathedral. Koningen is Norwegian born, with an early Dutch childhood and is fluent in Netherlands, whilst Dianne is Australian. You will definitely be given a warm welcome to browse this vibrant studio gallery.

Very historical, and full of things to do and sights to see for all ages. Whilst there we undertook to discover tithe local art scene and found... More

We bought a beautiful series of paintings at the gallery for our restaurant in St. Thomas. The artist worked from our design concept to create a custom piece. He even had it shipped to the Caribbean for us at a great price. We feel like we made a great connection & secured a fabulous original for our space. Koningen recently... More

Works are brillant and unique and this artist is known world wide. Originally from Australia, the artist and his wife Dianne settled in Brugge a few years ago. I happened on the gallery (which...
