Excellent and informative trip. Picked up from our hotel by Nathan at 8.30 and after picking up 2 other couples we headed to ypres. We visited langemaark, Canadian and new Zealand memorials, Tyne cot, 1917 battle of paschendaele museum, had lunch, visited the Flanders fields museum in Ypres, the menin gate and finally hill 60. Nathan was really helpful and... More

Our tour was led Henri Govaert, a native of Ypres, well versed in the history of his local area and told in excellent English. The whole day comprising the Battle Field tour and the Last Post Ceremony was profoundly sobering but well worth while. The day started well when Henri collected us at our Bruges hotel on time in a... More

Excellent, brilliant being in Ypres and The Menin Gate 100 years on for The Parade and the evening, so moving. The Battlefields Tour to The Somme was a first for me, so that was great. Our Tour Guide was hilarious and the whole thing was good value for money and excellent quality all round.

Henri was the guide for our tour and he was excellent. He really knows his history of World War 1 in the Flanders area, and actually lives in Ypres. The tour takes you to a variety of sites, and as well as telling the group about each place, we also had time on our own to wander. Lunch was included,... More

This day was the best thing we've ever done whilst travelling. The tour was meticulously organised and Nathan was the perfect host. We had details of a relative we had been tracing and Nathan was extremely helpful and knew exactly where to find what we thought was a grave but was actually a panel on the Menin Gate. Our tour... Nathan picked us up from our hotel at 8.45am and along with 6 other people we set off. On the way he explained how the war had come about in some detail. He was very informative, we visited hill 60 and larchwood cemetery as I had asked him when we booked if it was possible to go there. He didnt... More

this tour company offers a great day tour of the world war one sites in Ypres, Belgium. Very nice driver and guide. Love the pickup and dropoff at our hotel. So easy to have transportation to the world war one cemeteries, museums, memorials. He also took us to the spot in Flanders Fields where John McCrae wrote the famous poem,... More

This was a very humbling and uplifting tour , with get sadness for the many thousands of men that died for our freedom. It gave me great insight to the conditions they suffered in the cold , wet dark days , months and years that followed. In all the tour was good coach we had was very comfortable although fairly... Nathan picked us up promptly from our hotel. The tour groups only hold a maximum of 8 people which makes the experience more personable. Nathan was an extremely knowledgable and friendly guide, taking us to all the major WW1 sites in Ypres and Flanders. The sit lunch with beer was lovely. At the conclusion of the tour, we received a... More
