Had a great day finishing with the last post ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypre. Nathan is full of knowledge and small group size works well . Flanders Fields museum in Ypre is amazing and not to be missed.

Wonderful day spent touring the Battlefields with our guide, Nathan, whose knowledge of the Great War is amazing. He will make it as personal as possible if you request a visit to a specific place or grave. A real Must if you're visiting Bruges.

We had a fantastic and memorable visit to Flanders Fields with Tour Company "Quasimodo", our guide was Sharon, who is an expert on the subject of WW1, she explained the battles and horrors with a great degree of emotion and sensitivity, a very professional lady, who also brought alive the horrors, suffering and bravery our soldiers endured. As an Ex... More

Our tour late Dec was with Henri as Nathan was injured but reading later posted reviews maybe our tour not quite as good or maybe it was just the day. So bitterly cold and wet and we were absolutely frozen but it also added to the stark authenticity and understanding of WW1 and what they all went through. A full... More

A day for walking shoes, wRm woollies and a great deal of respect for those that went before us. A guided tour was our choice and I'm glad we did so as it afforded one time to reflect upon things instead of concentrating on driving. A full days journey around many sites and museums

We were very lucky when Nathan had a cancellation enabling us to join his party(total of 8 a perfect size)on Friday 20/3.After picking us up his initial introductory chat on the issues and events in the late 19th cent and pre war was succinct and extremely helpful before we visited many sites of interest with Nathan’s commentary bringing the bleak... This trip combines museum visits and a tour round the Ypres area to view first hand where a number of significant events took place. The day was complemented by an excellent lunch and Nathan's encyclopaedic knowledge of WW1 and the events leading up to the outbreak of war. Although a fairly sobering experience I would strongly recommend it.

A very interesting trip. Lots of information about World War One and how Belgium coped. Our coach driver was very safe, the coach was comfortable and our tour guide gave us lots of good information.

Nathan and his insights into the history of the area made the day well worth it. A good guide who gave unique insights in the rich tapestry of the history of the War, and how the global events of the day led to the inevitable clash. We left with new insights into the topography of battle fields and some small... More

Cannot rate this day out highly enough! Nathan, our guide, with his knowledge of the countryside combined with the history leading up to WW1, made this day an unforgettable experience. It's intimate as there's a maximum of 8 on the tour, and also a lot is packed in. Also Nathan is happy to help you trace relatives and will amend... More
