For tourists a bit of the beaten track because a couple of km's outside the center but if you have kids and you're a bit fed up with all the historical buildings and museums, the "Provinciaal Domein" is a nice change. It is a big (very big) parc with a couple of big ponds/lakes, cool playgardens, rope parcours, swimming pool... More

A favorite place for children and grandchildren or a leisurely walk or jog. Activities include several playgrounds with different levels of difficulty, an outdoor swimming pool, a mini golf and several restaurants. And a skating rink and sports facilities for basketball, soccer.

I have recently discovered this nice park just outside the city centre..It's a great place to spend a relaxing day having a picnic and walking around the lakes (or even taking a boat to sail on them)..I will definitely come back :)

Great place to have a picnic on a nice day with family. A lot of free activities for kids, great playgrounds, boating, walking paths, horse riding... And not crowded with tourists

While this isn't a must-see for tourists, for locals it's a great little park with ponds, strolling paths, a really cool play area for kids, and even paddle boats in the summer. In the evening in nice weather it looks like something straight out of a Monet painting. Pair a few hours in the park with a relaxing beer at... More

Lots of stuff to discover for your kids. Or just for taking a run. Or a nice walk with your dog. You can still use it in winter times but get dressed for it, as it can be wet and dirty. Summer is better for this venue. Nice little cafe with friendly staff.
