A well kept medieval bridge, lots of visitors but you could easily take whatever type of photos you wanted without being over crowded. lovely place and well looked after, although more litter bins required and more frequent emptying of them.

If in Ghent this is a place to take a nice photo, the whole area, including the church is very scenic.

Beautiful view of the city and canal from this bridge - a great photo opportunity. As others have said, the bridge itself isn't all that, but the views are.

This bridge is a location where you can get many of the major attractions in the same picture. Within five minutes of this bridge are many small cafes with a lot of moderately priced eating option. Of course, if you went to the caste you have probably already captured these major landmarks , but from a different perspective.

The bridge itself is not something very special but the view from it are. You can admire the Gravensteen Castle and some of the traditional houses from here, and the setting its totally different during the day and the night. You totally feel like you are in a different time with the views of the city and how everything its... More

The bridge is not that special, whatever you hear, but there is a lovely view looking toward the castle and along the river bank where a number of historical houses and buildings are located. The look back to the cathedrals, in the right light, is also a perfect photo op.

This is one of the highlights of the wonderful Belgian city Ghent, what an impressive historical attraction. On the bridge you will feel like in Mediëval times if you look around: the church, the houses, the canal, really a breathtaking experience if you are up to history!

Only place in Ghent where you can see three towers -St. Nicholas, St. Bavo, and Belfry -all in a row. Looking to city center you can also see post office, a NEO-gothic building. Looking down Graslei and Korenlei streets you can also see old fish market in distance.

The well known bridge that everyone has to have their picture taken on, it crosses over the river and the church is situated there
