Excellent guide

Very informative, guide excellent. We took the 40 minute trip which was long enough. Very enjoyable and a good way to get a potted history on a day trip to Ghent

Had a fabulous boat tour from this company. Had a tour in English with a delightful young gentleman who took us to all the historic places with a great story for each place and area.

Our coach wasn't allowed to park in Ghent so we were picked up on the outskirts. I was very tearful as I walk with a stick due to difficulties I was frightened I wouldn't be able to get onto the boat and I would be stranded for 4 hours in the middle of no where as the coach was going... More

Had a lovely river trip well worth doing if you have never been before. Gives you a good idea were to go before you start walking. Were out for about 40 mins and the guide explained everywhere on route.

We had a lovely time traveling up and down the river in Ghent. Seeing the beautiful buildings from the river was lovely and the kids loved the ice cream that was complementary with the purchase of the ticket. My only complaint is the boat captain was also the tour guide and his heavy accent over the microphone was very hard... More

This is the third time I visit Gent and I've never done a boat tour before. This time I decided to try it but I had to regret it. I asked for a covered boat (there are a few available) but they answered that they are available only during rainy days. When I did the tour the weather was quite... More

We loved our little boat tour of Ghent, but note that the 40 minute journey does not cover a great area, as the guide tends to halt the boat several times to explain in various languages the area around us (which is perfectly understandable). However, for €7 each, the value is great, and it's a lovely thing to do after... More

Take an enjouable boattrip with personal explication. Enjoy a free beer and discover ancient Gent. There is no bettercwayvto discover the city. Gent is more interesting than Bruges, it is larger.

The boats stop at a couple of places to pick up people on the way and can be a bit of a crush, and then they trundle up and down a short stretch of the canals, so if you are on the 'wrong' side of the boat for a picture, you can get it on the way back. We couldn't... More

let the guide take you for a ride on the canals and river that cross the city and listen to his stories and the (sometimes very personal interpretation of) city's history for a few euros you get a unique view
