The museum just wasn’t what we expected—more a collection of items relating changes in object designs, with direct comparison between Belgium and Netherlands—competitors... More

A fantastic museum for all ages to enjoy! Well designed & superb displays make this a great place to visit whilst in the area. The buliding is beautiful & the exhibits are tastefully arranged over several floors in chronological order. Spacious, interesting & informative!

After waiting for the Queen of Belgium to leave we had a very pleasant visit over the three floors displaying an array of generations of design.

This museum is packed full of great design examples from early 1800s through to now. It showcases a large amount of Belgian and Dutch work and was well worth the 10 euro admission. Thanks!

This museum is located in the historic centre of Ghent. The entrance fee is €10 but you can also buy a combined ticket which will allow entrance into other museums. When we visited there was a very good exhibition focusing on Belgium design and Dutch design. There is clearly a lot of friendly rivalry here, but the analysis of the... More

This museum ought to be a highlight but large areas- perhaps 80% of the total exhibition area- were closed and despite a reduced entry fee we felt seriously short-changed.
