It is also a very pleasant walk from the centre of town, with lots of paths leading up to it — and right at the top, if you have family, there is the most excellent pleasure park, with cafes and lots of attracttions, especially for under-10s. more
The citadel overlooks the town of Namur. It's a giant fortification with a long and interesting history. My parents and I took a guided tour of the citadel in July.
