The real heart of the city. When we were there the area was filled with a local beer festival and also an epicurean exhibition.

We enjoyed watching the skateboarders on the square. A little more information in situ would have been appreciated. The metal columns mark out the walls of the original cathedral.

This Place is in the heart of Liege and almost every time I go there I see it. There are a lot of people because some commercial activities and restaurant but the place in itself is not very interesting, moreover at certain times can be not very safe because some youngsters who stay there.

The architecture is amazing. So much to see especially at Christmas time. Liege is undersold, you could spend days just looking at buildings and other constructions.

It was a nice place to chill out. You can sit there and watch the crowd passing by. Or just take a look around you at the places there.

big area with a great view. Busy with traffic and has a memorial to the people who died in the tragedy 2 years ago. It is in the centre of Liege and Liege Palais is only a 3 minute walk away

This is the central square of Liege. You will always find people walking, sitting aroundin groups and talking. There are many buses passing from the square. The Palais de Justice is at the square. Several stores are located around the square (ie gallery inno). Nice to go there and walk in the area. Hosts the xmass market and several events... More

Average and pricey for quality, except for La Valaisanne, where you find nice fondue and raclette. Some bars are nice for the view. Don't go to As Ouhes !

This is at the central of the city, a nice place to visit. Very near to the Palace of Justice. Couldn't go inside due to the shortage of time.

Lots of publicity about this biggest Christmas market in Belgium and it is all phoney. While there are about 100 stalls very few are devoted to Christmas themes. Lots of interesting food and drink stalls and if you are on a Rugby Club trip then it would be a great venue. Overall this is a major disappointment and does not... More
