This is one of my favorite bars I've ever been to. The inside is filled with a variety of unusual items, but it doesn't feel kitschy. The music is a great mix of jazz and '50s soul. The beer list is one of the best we saw during our time in Brussels. We grabbed a table inside (don't sit outside... More

Let me begin by stating that I had a wonderful stay in Belgium. This place was an exception. The waiter was rude, impatient and slammed the drinks on our table when we made it visible that this was discomforting. When we alerted the manager, he said he'd speak to him. Five minutes later, the waiter comes and starts screaming at... More

This fantastic bar is a stones throw away from the Manneken Pis (pissing boy statue), literally around the corner. I would really recommend making sure that this really special pub is on your list of places to visit whilst in Brussels. Its a must place to sit and try a Belgian beer in, its so uniquely decorated and its really... More

We came here on our recent trip to Brussels for a few drinks one evening. There is a great atmosphere and the staff are very nice and helpful. Drinks are reasonably priced and is in a great location, just a few minutes walk outside Grand-Place. Definitely worth a visit to, even if just for one drink.

Can only echo the previous reviews, a must if visiting Brussels. A great example of a Belgian bar, spoilt for choice with selection of beers, a great atmosphere and quirky decor

No need to wax lyrical about this fantastic bar. It's everything you could ever wish for in a city bar/bistro. Beer is great, service is great, food is great... very busy so don't leave it too late. A 'must see' in Brussels.

I'm living in Brussels and this is one of my (many) favourites in town, surely when you are in the city-centre.The only "minus" is that this place is mostly full or you have to look out for a table. You're of course very close the "grand-place" so...Lots of differents beer and their spaghetti is very good.Interior is special and authentic.

I don't know where to start from with that place.. From the moment we sat and had to ask for the waiter's attention to order, our night was ruined. We had a plastic bottle of water on the table (a must for every traveller) and when we asked to order he said in a snobbish way half English half French... More

Many of the bars in central Brussels seemed dingy and uninspiring, and I'm surprised how so many tourists flock to Delirium which seemed to be the pits. This bar by contrast was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, the selection of draft and bottled ales must be one of the best in Brussels, and sitting on the street-side terrace... More

.. whenever we are in Brussels. I agree with previous comments and even the "seeming" unhelpfulness of the staff at times. Put this in context: they are almost always busy or busy'ish; on most days, its mainly tourists who sit themselves in one of the best beer bars and then turn out to know nothing at all about beer. "What... More
