We had a few hours free to spend in Brussels and stumbled in here by chance, planning on having a single beer. However the good selection inside and the bad weather out, 'prevented' us from leaving. The staff were ok, quietly making sure we were topped up and the interior decor felt nicely dated.

Really like this place. Great choice of beer, proper old school waiters and decent food. Despite other Comments I thought prices ok. Omelette 8 euros. Nice big salad for 13. Great atmosphere

I've been visiting this pub for some beers. It was pricey,if you are traveling on budget it's nice to visit it and just ask for a beer because the food comes in small portions and it's pricey.

This is a good old boozer...rough round the edges, decor has been retained with that distinctive pub odour that some people find distasteful. If you want a clean sterile theme pub then this is not for you....however if you are looking for a slice of Belgian pub culture and a good selection of beers then your in luck. Bit pricey.

.. its worth a single visit. Admittedly, I've been there more than once - with different people - as it doesn't seem to have changed since the turn of the century. Service does vary at times and it is pricey. Try the gueuze.

The waiteress keeps the strangers in even if I have informed her;She said,"it is ok". So my friend's stuff got stolen,I thought she is quite familiar with that situation. The obese and senior waitress.

This bar was found by lookig on trip advisor for suggestions and we were pleased with what we found both times we visited. We only went for drinks but the service was very good, the selection of beers excellent and the atmosphere very enjoyable, clearly a popular place with locals and tourists alike.

Agree with most of the reviews, a must bar to visit. A great range of beers but 12 Euros for a large beer is a bit steep, Food is basic but enjoyable, can recommend the Brussels pate; you get a huge slice of bread and a large portion of pate. The staff are strange, slow to take the orders at... More

I felt really terrible because my mobile phone got stolen by a thief looking girl, but the restaurant didn't step up. Even pretended they don't speak English(they did speak fluent English while explaining the menu for me.), said they didn't see anyone like I described. We called the staff to do something for that thief girl's annoying me, they all... More
