I love markets, boot fairs etc so I was really pleased to find this market to be as good as it was. Walked to the market from our hotel, it is in an old cobbled square and the sellers either sell from a cloth on the floor, boxes or some have tables. A lot of it I think is house... More

a great flea market on Saturday and Sunday. Lots of cafes around the edge. Stalls full of crap and treasures, what better way to spend a few hours? Musicians playing everywhere and stall holders of all races. Great fun

Flea market with everything you want. And if you don't find nothing, only make some pictures. Be care with parking, its not so easy this time.

What are you looking for? Antique bargains? Vibe atmosphere? Cafes? Street food? Jazz bands live? Antique shops? Art shops? You can have it all! And most of them, for free! Now, seriously and in details: Antique bargains = mixture of items in boxes, left on the pavement. But if you dig, you will certainly find excellent stuff, eg an original... More

One of the best places still left in the world for antique hunting! Vendors change daily so there's good days and bad days. The Wensday vendors are usually good. Most of the items come from estates that the vendors are paid to clean out. That being said, there is a lot of junk, but, if you're willing to pick through it... More

We always visit when we're in Brussels over a weekend. It's one of the only things to do on a Sunday morning, and really interesting. I've picked up some neat things there, and when I have guests from the US they are always interested and get lots of cool pictures here. Take small bills, and don't be afraid to bargain... More

from reading the reviews left by others, it seems there is a lot of variation in the quality of the stuff on offer at the flea market (which shouldnt be a surprise, considering it is a daily market). We were there on a saturday morning early and it was great! One of my favourite flea market experiences in Europe, actually...... More

I don't know why people are complaining about this market, after all it is a "flea market" so of course it's full of junk. I found it great fun to browse through and haggle for clothes, jewelry, household goods and general junk. There was even a stall selling second-hand false teeth! The atmosphere was great, with buskers and cafes around... More

Without exception the stalls (mostly blankets on the ground) consisted of absolute rubbish. A lot of the ground was littered with broken glass and broken items. Most of the "stuff" would look quite at home on a skip. I don't know where the other reviewers saw their great bargains - maybe there is another Brussels I haven't yet discovered!!

Nearly all house clearance junk or manufactured 'antiques'. A total waste of time. Any boot sale in the Sussex/Kent area would be up market by comparison.
