We came in here to shelter from cold at dusk. It is a converted market structure cast iron and red brick now housing a lively bar scene filled with people sitting at tables having a good time. A lovely corner of the city adjacent to a church. would happily return here.

A real Belgian place. Lots of bars in a area that used to be quite run down. There is a sense that there are lot of things going on here, little markets pops up and you meet locals tourist and artpeople in a big mix. The street with lots of asian restaurants is also nice.

Loads of little cafes, pubs and places to eat (mostly Asian). Great place for a group of friends or just a pit-stop. Very popular place in the evening, and some places even have live bands. A lot of places to sit outside when the weather allows it.

I just love going to one of the bars at Place ST gery. There is always a lot of ambiance, good athmosphere and a lot of people. Good place to hand out if you re the type of person to jump in more then one place in the same evening. You can also eat in the area - a variated offer of asian food plus turkish - and have a drink, find a party (decent or not!). enjoy it!

Nothing Special, but a good place for a beer and a chat. Beware of blvd Anspach, it can get really dodgy there.

Crammed with bars and surrounded with streets full of small restaurants this is the place to be away from the tourist traps in central Brussels.

Do not forget to pay a visit to Cafe Central! Among the places that are not mentioned on your travel guide... Something to find in Brussels...

If you are in Brussels and want a great night out.. get down to Saint Gery. Great bars, just off Thai Street so the food is useful too! Probably the best concentration of cool bars in the city.
