great building filled with classy shops, cafes and restaurants. Beware bag thieves - a plague everywhere these days, but the current ploy in Brussels involves them carrying a large empty bag to put yours in

Chocolate lovers out there, this is the place to be. It has a lot of affordable stores but if you are looking for more of a high end brand, Marcolini is the store to go. The gallery is a good place to spend time specially if its raining outside. The only thing that I had issue with was there were... More

Most of the big Belgian chocolate brands have a shop in these 180 year old galeries, from the less expensive (Leonidas) to the more expensive (Marcolini, Mary). You don't feel you are walking in a covered alley as the roof has a special ventilation system. The Rue des Bouchers is just around the corner and the Grand Market is 50... More

Very nice antique gallery full of beautifully-decorated chocolate shops and cafes. Love the bright sun rays coming from the ceiling. Great place to relax and indulge yourself after a day of walking.

A classy European gallery, we loved the hat shop with a big choice of styles and prices. Very close to the famous Grand Place, quite a few restaurants around.

Back into the 1900's. Bring your camera. This place is tempting on all levels. Try the twillight experience, sipping a drink like a native at the terrace of Mokafé, when the daylight dissappears end the city lights slowly illuminate and transform the architectural details into a shimmering surrealistic decor.

Beautiful - look up at the curved ceiling (yes, it is first covered mall) and it will be hard to look at shops! Very interesting shops but most are very pricey. Worth a stroll even if you only window shop.
