This is the very first shopping mall in Brussels and you can find varieties chocolate shops inside the gallery. The ceiling was very beautiful :)

This is a nice place to window shop or have a coffee at Pain Quotidien, or go into chocolate shops. I had a most wonderful macaron experience at Pierre Marcolini situated in these galeries.

We a tarted our walking tour in this building. It is full of history and atmosphere. We enjoyed delicious Neuhaus Hot Chocolate in the walk through.....caution.....potent.....liquid. Beautiful shop fronts and unusual designs. Well worth a view.

A must if you visit Brussels. Cool when it's hot in the summer, dry when it's raining. An interesting mix of cafe's, high end shops, bookstores, chocolatiers and even an old cinema. It is a (dry!) shortcut to the tourist restaurants and to the famous Mort Subite ("Sudden Death") bar that sits at the opposite end to the Grand Place.... More

The Saint-Hubert galleries were a nice place to walk, away from the snow outside, but all the shops there are expensive. As for the chocolate shops, you can find them all around Brussels, except for Mary's

Despite being touristy, the Galleries inspire some relaxing ambiance and call for a slow down. Look at your surroundings with more attention, maybe stop by for a drink, let the time go. Can't explain...

Unless you are a dedicated shopper there is no reason to do more than stick your head in the door for a peek. It is very attractive but is just a Victorian shopping Mall in the heat of the city.
