good and nice tourist walk through. many stores for chocolate, and designer bags, etc. Just like the walk way in Milan. it has twin regular façades with distant origins in Vasari's long narrow street-like courtyard of the Uffizi, Florence, with glazed arcaded shopfronts separated by pilasters and two upper floors, all in an Italianate Cinquecento style, under an arched glass-paned... There are a few high end chocolatiers and gift shops in this beautiful indoor shopping center. Nothing like a "mall" but more like a covered pedestrian walk through with great architectural finishes. You can sit and have a coffee if you can find a seat...

I had noticed the Arcade when I checked into the hotel, but did not at first realise that it goes almost from Grand Place to Arenbergstraat. It is a very beautiful arcade with plenty of shops and eateries to choose from - or just go for a walk - be it night or day.

Its an ok wall to stroll through as it is right across the grand palace Good for premium shopping but not the extremely high end boutiques either Worth a stroll through once

You must see Les Galeries. A mixture of elegant architechture, fancy chocolate shops and modern art and furniture shops.

Its an interesting indoor gallery of shops. Not very different from the one's you would find, say in Paris on the Champs Elysees but this one did precede other famous 19th century galleries in Europe. Stroll around and visit some of the various shops in the gallery. Be warned that not all stores have the same opening and closing hours!... More

The best Belgian chocolate stores can be found in this small but charming galleries. There's also a Le Pain Quotidian, a kind of restaurant-boulangerie. The hot chocolate is delicious, as the cherry crumble pie and the caramel pie.
