Owner description: The Botanique has become a cultural Centre since 1984. Formally, it was a Botanique garden, with gorgious greenhouses. Nowadays, it still show its wonderful architecture, together with up-to-date concert venues (Orangerie, Rotonde, Witloof Bar ...). Discover our many concerts over the year through our website or visit our galery called Museum, with its 4 or 5 big exhibitions a year (photography, paintings, ...).

Very nice gardens, nothing very special, but pleasant to go for a walk around. We also went in November so there weren't any flowers around, perhaps Spring would be a better time for a visit.

A lovely peaceful place to visit. You may as well be in the contry. Lovely and well kept. The ponds do need a bit of a clean but it makes for a lovely early morning walk

Autumn should be a nice time to visit, but it was a bit dark and damp. Walked through but not really the best time to visit. I will come back when it's spring or summer.

The gardens are lovely to walk around, however some parts did feel a bit run down. We didn't go inside the building but saw they do live music most nights. It was fully booked for our stay.

Don't bother going inside the orangerie. Stay in the park; it's much better. A peaceful walk with interesting vistas around each corner. Surprising given the small space the location occupies. A good shortcut to the city.

The Botanical Garden (Jardin Botanique/Kruidtuin) is just off Rue Royale/Koningstraat and close to Botanique metro and tram stops. However, it's a quiet little oasis with pretty formal gardens, sculptures, a greenhouse, lake, and nooks to explore and relax with a picnic. It's close to several large hotels and provides a peaceful escape from rushing about. You can enter from the... More

A great space open to the public, lots of weddings photographs take place here, so it's a lovely venue to have a stroll through.

We stayed at the Hilton, and stumbled into the park as we were walking through the city. It's small and lovely. Provided a leafy respite in a busy touristy day! Encourage you to do the same!

My wife and I spent a pleasurable hour walking these gardens. The plants are well kept and the statues are beautiful. A small criticism: we would have had a drink (coffee, tea, wine or beer) in the cafe / restaurant, but prices were not clearly displayed. So we walked back to the shopping area for lunch. Well worth a visit.
