Nowadays, it still show its wonderful architecture, together with up-to-date concert venues (Orangerie, Rotonde, Witloof Bar ...). Discover our many concerts over the year through our website or visit our galery called Museum, with its 4 or 5 big exhibitions a year (photography, paintings, ...). « less

Being in this part of Europe, I would have expected much more from a botanical building. Instead, it was drab and dreary, without plants. The surrounding parkland was pleasant, but nothing special, worth walking through if you are in the area, but not worth making a side trip for

The garden is landscaped very nicely. There are benches around to sit and relax. Inside the building there is nothing much to see. This is said to be a green house and a botanical garden. But now the building is used for exhibitions as well

Deciding to take a walk up the northern end of the city to see the botanical gardens? This may save you a lot of time. We were pretty disappointed. Didn't expect Kew Gardens but didn't expect graffiti daubed conservatory which houses a small cafe/restaurant. I am sure it was beautiful in its day but since decayed. (Remember the scene in... More

Free entry. Very nice sculpture gardens and meandering paths through trees, scrubs, flowering plants and around a pond. Gardens are surrounded by main thoroughfare and it is muffled a bit but still a rather noisy garden and park.

We stopped here for lunch thinking that we'd also be able to look around inside...which didn't seem to be the case. However it was a beautiful day and having lunch in the lovely cafe/restaurant outside the main building was one of the highlights of out trip. The gardens themselves are very pretty and are host to some quite amusing statues... More

The botanical gardens are very pretty, and it's very strange to find such beauty in the middle of such a busy city! Lovely photo opportunity.

The tulip and magnolia tree displays were fab at this time of year so it was well worth a visit. Its not in a great location so brightens up this area. Easy to get to from the Botanique metro station just across the road. Nice little cafe and seating areas.

We had to burn 1 hour before getting the taxi. Many benches around the small lake. Very old trees. Unfortunately, you can hear the cars and see the buildings.
