A nice touch - explained with obvious pride by our well-informed tour guide - this is just one of many murals devised and maintained by the municipal authority since the seventies when many streets were remodelled............

Worth a look and good photo op, not the end of the world if you miss it. However as I live in the Banksy capital maybe I am used to good street art!

We were surprised and fascinated by the amount of artwork n the sides of buildings (especially as they were not graffitied). Really unique and brought a smile to our face as we tried to spot them

The Mural is close to Mannekin Pis which is a Brussels icon, however, Tintin is a Belgian icon and great to see he is prominent close to Mannekin Pis.

If you want to see all, download a map guide especially for the murals and plan a route in advance. Ideal for kids and adults who... More

In fact the whole of the comic walk around the Grand Place is a unique exprerience and an excellent example of how people can look after their cities and give them high artistic sense!

These murals are a great addition to an already charming city. They are large and very well done. Even though not the easiest to find the main one, look them online and you find there is a walking map and self-guided tour to them all throughout the city.

Had to look around a bit to find it. Found it amusing that locals had no clue about Tintin! Not really a mural painting. It's more of a graffiti. If you are a Tintin fan, you'll appreciate it as a validation that you are in his homeland.
