the city is full of comic strip mural painting, this is one of them You can buy at the information center a map for 50 cents with a comic walk that goes through all the murals in the city.
Definitely brings back my memory on my favorite comic books during high school time. I think people of Brussels have great sense of humor and quiet laid back. I have a great time trying to take picture of many of these murals.
Great idea in using the walls in the town by having such cartoon characters painting. I do personnally like it. My young, and little kids just came to hear about Tintin as the Japanese fllod the markets with the cartoon movies and characters.
These murals are sometimes hidden on side streets, but are quite a contrast if you come across one. I happened to come across two/three of the murals in different places along the route to Grand de Place, painted on buildings in side streets
