The bus tours are a good way to orient yourself to the city. There are two different tours and both are informative. A good way to see the city and decide where you would like to spend additional time. The hop-on-off was ok and efficient transportation. Overall a good orientation.

Really not great. The headphone tour is a insult to your intelligence. Its narrated by a conceded, useless monotone woman. It has really no relevant information other than its fun the eat chips... really Eat chips! In a city with rich history you will not find any of it on the Hop on Hop off bus. 10 min on foot... More

Couldn't find a thread for this particular trip.. It was SUPERB. Mostly, thanks to our outstanding guide, Stephan (I hope I spelled the name right). I was picked up at the hotel, and, after picking up a handful of fellow travellers, off we went. Our guide spoke more languages than anybody I know. But it's his contageous enthusiasm for Belgium... Not cheap, but two tours and a fair number of freebies in the leaflets and so forth makes it a way worthwhile to see around the city, the European area and the Atomium, especially for first-time visitors. It gives you an idea of places to explore later. We did it on impulse and really enjoyed the experience. The plug-in commentary... More

This morning my boyfriend and I went on the half day morning city tour around Brussels. The beginning started off fine with a walk to the market square. We then walked to our coach for the tour to begin. When we got to the bus our bus driver Olivier was sitting at the wheel of the bus smoking. I am... More

I've done the Bruges and Ghent tour with Brussels City Tours twice, once in 2010 with my partner and the second time in October 2014 with my parents. The first time I went on this tour, I loved it! Our tour guide spoke 8 different languages and was learning 2 more. He was funny, charming and knowledgeable - everything you... More

Had a very terrible experience with the Ghent and bruge tour with "Brussels city tours"! Paid a huge amount of money for the tour then they made us pay a huge amount for lunch on top, with no prior warning. Very unhappy! Tour guide was boring and uninspiring, was treated very poorly by this company never again!

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and maybe capital of the European Union. It is said Grand Place in Brussels is the most beautiful square in Europe. Maybe it is right – see my photos. This square is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Patron saints of Brussels are St.Michael and St.Gudula. The roman-catholic Cathedral of St.Michael and St.Gudula is also beautiful... More

We booked the tour to Ghent and Brugges through "Brussel City Tours". We spent more time travelling on the bus than at the actual stops. Ghent was a bit boring...lots of churches and not much else other than delicious chocolate shops and free standing urinals in the alleyways. Then it was off to our next stop Bruegges. We spent the... Not too much fun actually... But we found a "Sunday Market Walk" on Brussels official website, It was fun to walk around outside of city center.
