After having read reviews on trip advisor, my girlfriend and I had to try Marcolini. We were shocked to find and incredibly poor service and mediocre chocolate. The staff yawned after I mentioned I had been recommended and had to try Marcolini. Which was followed by unresponsiveness and a fairly rude remarks. The chocolate is good - but not what... More

Several years ago while on a trip to Brussels I stumbled across Pierre Marcolini and my life as a chocolate lover was forever changed. The shop offers artisan chocolates and other amazing delights. The shop itself is very tasteful and the staff very pleasant and knowledgeable. This is NOT one of the tourist trap chocolate shops. This is elegant, top-of-the-line... More

Our host recommended these chocolates as the best in Brussels. There are several PM stores in Brussels, some offer pastries as well. Samples are offered when you visit. The grand cru chocolates filled with grand cru ganache are fantastic! We went to the Place du Sablon boutique a few times; its carries beautiful, artfully presented chocolates. You can buy ready... Their presentation is like fine art. Tried the raspberry eclair. First day in the evening they were out of stock for this flavor, went back the next morning, and it was really delicious. Lovely staff.

Well worth a visit to the shop. You can ask to sample any chocolate you're interested in purchasing, that's not something that's advertised, and although expensive, it's the most amazing chocolate I've ever tasted, buying salted white chocolate this time. Worth every Euro!

With so many made in Belgium chocolate shops to pick from, which one is the best one for souvenirs? Well after doing a few tours and asking the locals, this is the place. Reasonable in price, pick your own selection and box size. You cannot go wrong with the quality and the high standards. Shop is very well lit, bright... More

I visited the stores in Bruges and Knokke, never Brussels, but my understanding is that they are all the same, same selection and same prices. Marcolini chocolates are not cheap but they are exquisite. Some of my favorite Belgian chocolates. They also serve super macaroons and eclairs, but chocolate is the reason to visit.
