The chocolate is good. The marketing is amazing. The showroom looks like a jewelry store. The showmanship is impressive

After hearing amazing things about Marcolini, we popped in one afternoon for some macarons. The service was very friendly - and not at all pretentious or condescending considering we only bought 2 pieces. Unfortunately they did not live up to their reputation - the macarons were very very average. If I had been told they were from a supermarket I... More

The most unremarkable chocolates. Almost tasteless. I bought the truffles, the dark choc nut crunch & the milk choc nut crunch. YAWN. & feel ripped off.

Stunning shop and stunning chocolates. They aren't cheap but you really get what you pay for with these! Delicious. Their macaroons are also some of the best I have ever tasted! Treat yourself, it's worth it! :)

There were quite a few chocolatiers around the Place du Grand Sablon, where my hotel was located. There was one I'd never heard of but the shop looked so beautiful I walked in and decided to buy a box to bring home. Glad I did! Each single chocolate had a sublime taste, which lingered in your mouth for a while.... More

This is one of the two chocolates in Brussels that I just love! Their pastry shop in Sablon is a true indulge! Their Java Cake, Envol Cake and Chocolate Eclair are my special occasion excuse! And their dark chocolate is an experience! You must try Pierre Marcolini if you are ever in Brussels.

Well tucked away from the multiple shops of the famous chocolatiers in Brussels - but definitely well worth tracking down. Far ahead in terms of tastes and texture. Service impeccable.

I never leave Brussels without a stop at Marcolini's. I like the "destination" truffles and chocolate bars. And I love their macaroons. I first had them in Paris, a macaroon heaven. And we preferred them to all the other famous and acclaimed macaroons available there.

Pierre Marcolini is NOT to be missed for any chocolate lover. We went back and forth (literally, traipsed between) on which was better between here and Mary Chocolatier and, after MANY comparisons, gave this the slightest edge. I am SO glad I don't live in Brussels - or, even where they are willing to ship - their chocolates and their... More
