We were drawn in by the rather grand decor but the service and food did not match... At all!! Our waiter seemed to be somewhat spaced out and incapable of remembering even the most basic requests. It wasn't even busy!! The food (steak and stew) was so tough and chewy it was almost inedible! By far the worst restaurant we... More

Horrible, especially for this place, no way you can even call this a restaurant, I have invented negative stars and it gets *****, can't get any worse. The simple fact that I'm writing about my experience is a strong indication about how bad it was, I never wrote about a bad experience before! Never in my life I've eaten such... More

The service is appallingly bad. Four of us went there mid-afternoon for a lunch and, although the restaurant was half-full, the waiter told us they were overwhelemed. He loosely pointed out an area in the restaurant for us to sit without even looking at us. In the 30 minutes we spent in this place, they didn't manage to bring us... More

This is my third time visiting Falstaff and I have to say it never disappoints, this is not a luxuary venue, nor is it a nightclub, however it is a traditional restaurant that serves great food in a great authentic location. Chill relax and enjoy your lunch or evening meal.

The food is fine in Falstaff. However, the service is the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. I ordered boiled potatoes on the side with my dinner. Instead, the waitress brought french fries. I reminded her what I ordered. By the time, she brought the potatoes, we all finished our dinner (there were six of us). When i... More

I don't understand what's going on with the negative Tripadvisor reviews of this establishment. it's one of a precious small number of unchanged 19th/early 20th century eating/drinking establishments in Brussels - it's similar to the equally well-preserved belle epoque Le Cirio on the other side of the Bourse, but bigger. Lots of charming details - marble tables, leather chairs, polished... More

We were tired from traveling and this place was close. The waiter brought the wrong beer, and insisted that was what we ordered. The food was just edible. It took forever to get the bill. After spending a week in Brussels this still rated as the worst place for both food and service. In fact it was the only place... More

Ordered a steak and chips which is difficult to screw up, yet the steak and fatty and tough, the sauce tasted like it had been sat out for months and the chips were stone cold. Worst meal I've ever had. Only positive was that the restaurant had a lot of character in terms of the decor. Still avoid at all... More

because once you really enjoyed having a meal there or even rest over a quick drink. Now it's not worth eating - in my opinion - just have a drink and admire the really historic building. The location is very central but one I would not choose for having dinner. Just off the Grand Place, a very dirty area smelling... More
