We were tired from traveling and this place was close. The waiter brought the wrong beer, and insisted that was what we ordered. The food was just edible. It took forever to get the bill. After spending a week in Brussels this still rated as the worst place for both food and service. In fact it was the only place... More

Ordered a steak and chips which is difficult to screw up, yet the steak and fatty and tough, the sauce tasted like it had been sat out for months and the chips were stone cold. Worst meal I've ever had. Only positive was that the restaurant had a lot of character in terms of the decor. Still avoid at all... More

because once you really enjoyed having a meal there or even rest over a quick drink. Now it's not worth eating - in my opinion - just have a drink and admire the really historic building. The location is very central but one I would not choose for having dinner. Just off the Grand Place, a very dirty area smelling... More

Stunning building with decor interior. Not read reviews before our visit and so glad we did not try the food! Ordered round of beers and waiter got that wrong, when we told him he indicated that it was 'tough luck' and that we could have the correct beer when we ordered another round!! As for the toilets OMG they were... More

We were drawn in by the music. The band played Philly soul, Motown, Reggae and terrific African tunes (Mali? Senegal?) What looked like regular followers of the band led the dancing. Great fun. I think we saw the place at its best. Drinks only. Had to chase the waiter to pay, but he was really busy. If you want a... More

My child has a severe allergy to peanut (traces not authorized) and we always have some difficulties to find places where we can eat when travelling. The chef de service could instantly reply to my question (which is rare.. many do not even understand what I am talking about and think it is sufficient to avoid dishes with peanuts in... More
