This beautifully restored art deco villa serves as a cultural center for the Middle East. We saw an exhibition of 20 Lebanese artists and were quite pleased. A good place to go if you want to see something new and enriching and are not in the mood for a crowded museum.

this building has recently been renovated for you. Not many tourists have discovered it.After the exuberant style of Horta and Gauchy this is a good pic to see a totally different style. You like it or you hate it. Personally I love it. The temporary exhibitions are of little extra value, but they are the only way to get in....

The art there are so-so, but the villa it self are just amazing - and that is the reason you should go. Its a 1930's villa with a fantastic decor and you can go all over the house (!), for you to explore.

The Villa Empain has opened its doors to the public in spring 2010. It was built as a private home by a young and very rich man who however never lived there. The dimensions of the villa are quite spacious which makes it an ideal setting for exhibitions hosted by the Boghossian Foundation being the owner of the building.
