I take chocolate very serious! I was in 3 major cities in Belgium and tried many chocolates at different chocolatiers. I was impressed by all, but I bought the most from Mary's Chocolates. I enjoyed the varieties and the smoothness of the chocolate. The store is very busy so try to go in the morning. My only regret is that... More

In a city which prides itself on chocolatiers, save your money for the best / Mary's is well presented, and prides itself on being the supplier to the Belgian royal family. Although expensive, the quality is worth the expense for the discerning taste, without any doubt.

This chocolate really was the best we tried and we tried a lot. It's very expensive but worth the price. You've never had chocolate this good.

Buying chocolate at Mary is always the highlight of my trips to Brussels. No one makes better chocolate. They are more pricey than some chocolatiers but well worth the price. I've been to three of their shops in Brussels and have found the chocolate and service consistent. They are very patient as I customize several boxes piece by piece. Do... More

We went to the shop because of recommendation from friend who regretted he bought too little chocolate from Mary last time he visited Brussels. At first, we dared not to buy too many as we have never tried this chocolate before ( and I am used to be a fan of French chocolate rather than Belgium chocolate). So we just... More

We popped into the shop on our last day to get some chocolate after the chocolate museum was closed, they couldn't be helpful enough. We spent a good 15 minutes picking out chocolates for a tailor made box we put together with the help of the girl behind the counter who advised us all the way. My wife was in... More

We must admit that we didn't buy and chocolate from Mary's and so therefore can not comment on its value or taste. However, this was the best hot chocolate we had in Belgium. You can get cups of hot chocolate all over Brussels and some are good and some are just not worth it, but if you get a cup... More
