Okay, visiting Brussels means you're going to have lots of chocolate. And Waffles. And beer. Well, I was so overwhelmed and just ran into this store, but I'm so happy I did!! I bought these chocolate covered something on a whim. The woman working told me they were marshmallows but better... It's a huge chocolate covered smore!!! I love smores,... More

Since you go to Belgium to eat some chocolate we thought we would try Mary since we had read about it online. I don't really think you can get bad chocolate but this chocolate was nice and rich, yet not too sweet like North American chocolate commonly is. I bought a box to take back home as a gift and... My wife and I visited the chocolate shop because of trip advisor. And wow I must say the chocolate was really amazing, the only bad thing is we only bought 1/2 kg should of bought more! Cant wait to get back to Belgium for chocolate. The lady that took care of us was really helpful on our selection. THE CHOCOLATE... More

Took a Stroll in the Center of Antwerpen. Men beware!!!! Don't go with your wives, unless you're suicidal or just won the Lottery!!!! Incredible assortment of high end shops and boutiques, the place to be for shopping. Although this shopping craziness, a little shop caught our attention: "Mary Chocolaterie". Handcraft Chocolates (Belgium Pralines). Simply the best. The shop Attendent gave... More

We tried several different chocolate manufacturers in Brussels. By far, Mary's is the absolute best! Creamy, rich and delicious - no artificial taste. It's a small store that supplies their chocolates to the Belgium royalty. Only wish we bought more but will go online for more.

Kids tried the hot chocolate. They liked it, but took a while to get used to the taste they say. Didn't try anything else. But just for the hot chocolate its different they said.

Our first exposure to Mary Chocolatier came back in 2000 when I was on sabbatical in the Netherlands and we took a trip to Brussels in late October. Every day we visited several chocolate shops, bought a small sampler, and then in the evening for dessert, we ate and compared the chocolates that we bought. We enjoyed the chocolate from... More

There are three stores within a few blocks of the market square - each concentrating on a different selection of products. The stores are beautiful, the chocolate is delicious (I'm partial to the dark chocolate) and the staff is knowledgeable.

I take chocolate very serious! I was in 3 major cities in Belgium and tried many chocolates at different chocolatiers. I was impressed by all, but I bought the most from Mary's Chocolates. I enjoyed the varieties and the smoothness of the chocolate. The store is very busy so try to go in the morning. My only regret is that... More
