If you love lovely old houses, the feeling of a village in a city the Zurenborg area is definitely one you would love to stroll in. Just follow your nose, walking from one street into another and enjoy the neighborhood: many young families with children have found their way here over the last 15 years, to hipsters this is the... I normally pass by this area in the car, but to appreciate it it's better first hand - it's within walking distance of the more touristy part of the city. There are architectural works of art aplenty here, so make sure you have lots of space on your camera. Also the restaurants in the area have a very good reputation,... More

I love Zurenborg. I live at 1,5 km distance and go often to Zurgenborg to have drinks or dinner. There are plenty of nice restaurants and the squares Draakplaats and Dageraadplaats are great to spend a long summer night outside and have drinks with friend or family!! Forget the Grote Markt and go here to mingle with the true Antwerp... More

This residential neighborhood is a sort of open air museum of fin de siecle building styles. A nice area to stroll around, with some bars and restaurants, and conveniently close to the Berchem train station.

Nice architecture. Waliking distance from both Central Station and Berchem Station. Trams: 11 and 9. Great for a drink or snack on the "Dageraadplaats" square which has a playground for children, basketball and football facilities. My favorite addresses: Zurenborger, Zeezicht and Moeskop, Dome, Dome sur Mer, Camping Campina, Strand van Oostende, Pizza Orso, Pita Amon, Domestic (bakery), Frituur 't Spieke,... More

You have to visit this area in the evening on thursday, friday or saturday. Check out the restaurants and terrasses on Dageraadplaats and draakplaats. Also have a walk through the Cogels Osylei. Very beautifull street with Some old housen of great architecture.
