With over 130 square kilometers (over 50 square miles), the place is way too big to visit. I presume the intention is the stroll between the 'Steen' and the Hangar, which is nice stroll, but I'd choose for the elevated path where available.

Antwerp was the scariest and sketchiest town we visited during our week in Belgium. I'd lived there before and it didn't seem so scary but walking through now, seeing the red light district which makes your skin crawl at 2 pm because the men and women there are concerning, and watching physical and verbal altercations break out in the streets... Our River Cruise ship moored here and it was only a ten minute walk to the city centre. The port area is clean and tidy and undergoing many improvements at the present time. The journey in through the lock was especially interesting.

We went on the port bus tour on a rainy day and were glad to do so, however we were delighted by both the tour and our tour guide. This is a must do if you are in the city for any time at all, we rate it as five stars.

The city in general is well worth a visit. From my arrival at the beautiful train station I was impressed. I then spent many hours wandering the city. I explored the outdoor shopping area, a few cafes, shopped in many of the artisan boutiques, and enjoyed a spectacular meal or two. It is an old port city with an up... More

We had really limited time in Antwerp. So they said that would probably be the best thing to visit. It was super cold but we enjoyed it. It is just a nice 360 view of the port and Antwerp. Nothing super special. We have never been so it was a new experience.

We discovered the Antwerp Port Tours motor coach tour online while searching for some way to see the massive port during the winter months. We found the tour to be unique and really well-executed. The bus leaves at 1, 3, and 5pm, Wed. - Sun. from by the flags in front of the MAS Museum; no need to make a... More

The entire area of the old harbour district is stunning. One of the best many dining locations. Even spare ribs are a classic, with homemade BBQ jerk. Delicious! Antwerp is the worlwide top location for Belgium chocolate and pralinees and for the Jewish diamond trade with exclusive stores.

Something for everyone here. Visited weekend before Christmas specifically for the Markets. ice rink, small fun fair, lots of well presented stalls, large ferris wheel & of course Gluhwein! A great way to escape the UK for a weekend. The port is located at the bottom of the main street to the old centre of town and all is within... More

The Port and the area around it is very vibrant. There are many bars around and the port has a very rustic feel to it with a few old warehouses and so on. Spend some time taking a walk here, especially in Summer.
