The Port and the area around it is very vibrant. There are many bars around and the port has a very rustic feel to it with a few old warehouses and so on. Spend some time taking a walk here, especially in Summer.

The port of Antwerp is an amazing environment... Firstly You have the so called "Old Port" around the Bonapartedok, Willemdok and Kattsndijkdok. This area is in full transformation with a lot of bars and restaurant in old warehouses. Unfortunately there are not so many of these old warehouses left, for which we need to thank Mr Bob Cools and Mrs... More

A place what everyone should look. Not a big attraction, but a quite place where you can feel good atmosphere.

Our cruise ship was able to dock right in the town, so it was easy to get on and off at will. There was a lovely bridge and a castle in the distance

We came from Namur on a WWI pilgrimage. Namur was an unexpected high point in our trip. The Engineer museum was astonishing! Vincent as our guide was wonderful! We will go back! Have to go back! Please can we import him for our trip. The museum is only open on a Wednesday but we stayed the extra days to facilitate... More

A port of call on our cruise, Antwerp's port is a short walk away from the main shopping area. The port is easy to manouvre - just watch out for the cyclists! We visited the main cathedral, which was just stunning, before heading off to sample Belgian Hot Chocolate and buy some chocolates - well, it would have been rude... More

We had a 3 hour cruise of the port of Antwerp, the second biggest in Europe after Rotterdam. It is slightly interesting in the first 30 minutes and then becomes quite dull. How many containers with bananas can you keep on spotting? It must be fantastic if you are fond of tankers and cranes and I admit that they have... More

It was just the first place I stayed in Europe. Oh Antwerp Port. It was magical, and a great economical site. There you're near to everything. Few steps forward and you will have everything you need. It's a great place for long walks, breath and relax, the scenic view is all you'll need to have a enjoyable trip. Don't forget... More

I have visited the Port of Antwerp many time in business and by now it feels very much home. A very important European port which is to consider as a gateway out and in. Port of Antwerp is the third biggest port in Europe after Hamburg and Rotterdam and many important shipping lines pass the port with all kind of... More
