We wandered into this place while we were waking around Antwerp... and we're speechless when we saw how stunning beautiful that it was. In other places… this building might have been a cathedral, an opera house, a great museum... but here it is the most stunning railway station that we have ever seen. The architecture in this building is stunning - well worth visiting and viewing. It is a huge station and somewhat confusing, but pretty clean, lots of small convenience / snack shops inside.

It's a unique experience to come down from the train in the large train station, having combined 3 different design stiles. It is breathtaking each time I visit it.

Ok, it's a big, ornate building, with an imposing inside and multi level railway tracks, but hardly worth the rating it gets.

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access and very easy to navigate. True European effectiveness. The smell is not always very good but thats a problem at most stations.

The train station is a blend of new and old after having undergone extensive renovations a few years ago. It is majestic and large, yet easy to find your way around. Several shops and cafés are inside under cover and can make a good shelter in the rain. Watching all the people is also interesting as is the acoustics in... More

Gorgeous architecture of the main station building gives the impression that you threw back many decades in time.

The central station is the symbol of the open mind mindset of the Antwerp! Did you ever see a railway station not horizontal but with a vertical extension?? It is easy to think about after you saw it, but not easy to image! Could be a symbol!
