Fabulous building. The architecture is amazing. Trains enter the station on three levels! It's free and the best way to arrive in Antwerp, we were even surprised by a flash mob song and dance.

Not sure it should rank as No 1 attraction in Antwerp. For getting to Brussels Airport I would recommend the airport shuttle coach which takes 40 minutes and costs 10 euros, thus saving going into Brussels changing trains and going back out to the airport. There are no signed for this service which leaves on the hour from left hand... More

Beautiful building inside and out, that is worth visiting even if you're not taking the train. It's architecture is impressive looking at it from the Keyserlei, and the old part inside will makes you wonder if it's really a train station or a cathedral. Great place to visit.

Grand old architecture, very impressive. A good array of shops & bars too. However, it's easy to get quite lost in such a huge space and the signage is all but absent! My only big criticism is that there didn't seem to be anywhere to use as a meeting landmark, e.g. a big clock or similar. Still, it was good... More

Central Station makes a statement standing so proud, so beautiful all lit up at night, very busy place, next to it is the Zoo, would have loved to seen all the animals

Just great--one of the world's beautiful train stations, period. Even if you're not taking the train it's worth visiting.

Absolutely and without questioning THE most beautiful train station I have ever seen, EVER. Full of Belgian colonial architecture kept in the best state. It is a pleasure to take a train from such a train station. Many shops and cafés, services and other attraction to keep you occupied. If you go to Antwerp, this is a must!

It is a nice enough building, but was stunned to see it so highly rated in TripAdvisor. Its OK, and is nice, but isn't something you would go out of your way to see. It is a train station...

As stations go I suppose this has to be one of the best in Europe, if not the world. I see that TA choose to list this under 'Attractions'. Well, I suppose it is. Best to go in the day, at night it is a little less salubrious.
