Last visited in 1993 when I was a kid, I will be taking my wife this year ! A great place to see key Dutch places and bulidings in miniature format. From recent advertising I note that the aircraft at Amsterdam Airport still wear colour schemes from the early 90's !! Come on guys update the planes !!! I especially... more

We honestly weren't expecting much when we decided to visit Madurodam, but we were pleasantly surprised. If you have some time to kill in The Hague, it is a great way to see all of the best sights in Holland, all in one day. The miniatures really are amazing. more

Whilst not particularly cheap, we found this trip well worth it ! Included in the entrance fee was a booklet giving in depth explanations on all the models, and some vouchers to get mini radios for the sound and light show. The models are exquisite and we all spent ages looking at the details. There was a fun trail to... more

Agreed with Shockit1. This is an over-rated model park, quite small and very expensive for what it is. On my last visit, large sections were under renovation so they could add a model of Holland's new high speed rail line - no warning about this at the entrance though. That said, I've been a few times with my son (who... more

Parts may have... more

We had a wonderful time. The site is a miniature of many Netheraland cities and buildings in great detail. Many of them moved and one even dispensed a pair of miniature clogs for 1 euro (very cute). Good attraction for adults and children. more

Our family spent quite a bit of time in Holland as there is quite a bit of fun things to see . Madurodam was one of them. We spent 2 hrs there and slowly looked at all the exhibits. Don't forget if you are with children to take coins so they can puts in slots of exhibits. more

This is a fun outdoor museum to spend a couple hours at. Imagine a model railroad on an obsessively vast scope and elaborate detail representing an entire country and that's Madurodam. I think kids would have a good time here -- the main reason we went is that my wife had some good memories of visiting as a small child.... more
