Pleasant stroll

It takes a little bit to find it but once you do it is a pleasant stroll in a lovely garden. It was just beautiful.

You have to pay 6.50 at the visitors center where you'll be greeted by a sweet little old Lady who'll explain the area to you and give you a map. It's a super nice walk around the park and take in all the greenery: the various trees, ponds, ducks, and flowers. There are many benches around so you can sit... More

Lovely clean park. Nice stroll between the city centre to the Euromast. Lots of open spaces for families, pic nics or long walks.

I went there at the beginning of spring. They have some nice specimens of plants but the collection is rather limited.

Nice place to hang around among flowers and nature. Theres a small cafe in the garden, nice and quiet to be there, enjoying the quiet afternoon out. You can use your rotterdam pass / museum card to enter for free.

If you're buying rare plants at a specialized shop in the Netherlands, big chance they are from this Arboretum. Besides the usual suspects it has a nice wild garden, an English tea room and a succulent indoor garden. Don't forget to visit the second garden accros the road!

It was an overwhelming feeling to walk by the ancient trees and magnificent little bridges. The downside, at least for me, is that you have to pay a fee to get in. And I only arrived when it was about to close. But a must go again without a doubt.

This is a really nice place to visit, at least on a sunny spring day. You can enjoy a stroll through the garden's paths and admire so many different trees, flowers and plants. Relaxing, in contact with nature, I can definitely recommend it.
