Total waste of time and money careless staff and no Exhibition at all. Be carefull ask to the counter what is the exhibition since you can notice that advertised exhibition does not exist during your tour between the floors. No guidance just school children activities around and no signage about the exhibitions since there is no exhibition. May be some... More

I didn't know about this museum until I googled for something to visit on my spare day in Rotterdam. I found the trip advisor reviews and decided to go. I am sort of museumed out, but this one sounded a little different. I'm glad I went. It is not only about architecture, but it is about design, art, creative thoughts,... More

You need to have, I think, 2-3hrs. for this museum. There are so many famous painting, sculpture, historical things, and even the modern product or design of many artists. There is restaurant available, toilet are free, and nice view also free of charge :D

The NAI is a bit boring. Just loads of architecture stuff nothing really special. But the nice thing is you can visit the Sonneveld house next to the museum for free. And that really is a treat.

In an attempt to find an interesting trip after quite a few days in the city, this seemed like an unlikely prospect, but actually had some very interesting interactive displays and exceptional photo opportunities. The Sonneveld House (reviewed separately) was intriguing to visit and even the 10-year old with us was engrossed in the audio information. Take a picnic and... More

Inexpensive admission by Netherlands standards which includes Sonneveld House (worthwhile for that alone) Very thought provoking exhibit on the basic values of Dutch architecture (although a bit of an odd presentation, at least in my limited experience). Cafe is nice for a light lunch.

There were two exhibitions on display - Treasury & Dutchville. The Treasury is a real treasure house for architects. The tour of habitations in the Netherlands is aesthetically displayed and the commentary with each exhibit is not only informative but also hilarious.

Some nice interactions help make this educational and fun, and raise different views on different forms of architecture. The 1933 house adjacent is amazing - to think such modernity existed 80 years ago...!

Wonderful exhibits in a very unique layout. We were only charged half price as some of the exhibits weren't open when we were there. Would recommend only if you have a very strong interest in Architecture but is an interesting enough visit. The ticket grants you entry to the Sonneveld House just behind the museum and is amazingly modern given... More

Rotterdam is a city of beautiful modern architecture and this place complements your visit. The special exhibitions are very informative and the best part is that your ticket gets you free entrance for the modernist house round the corner. And it's located in the museum park with 4 other great museums to visit, perfect for the day visitor.
