This week i visited the museum during one of my breaks... I'm someone, who loves to watch paintings, however I don't stay looking at one for ages, I just want to get an impression, form my opinion that's it. Going through the normal collection of the museum, which covers about half of the building, it took me about an hour... More

The museum boasts several outstanding artists; however, don’t expect outstanding works. Most of them seemed to be either unfinished or preliminary studies. I was disappointed, as this was one of the attractions that I looked forward to when planning my vacation.

The coat carrousel at the entrance is already a very nice start. We started with the older painting section. It has paintings of most of the well-known Dutch and Flemish painters, such... More

Beautiful different styles. Loved the cloackroom idea! Nice coffees at the entrance and great lunches at the restaurant. The old section was a great resting place.

Not being a big fan of 'museums' I was pleasantly surprised to see all the artworks and installations here, Yayoi Kusama's 'Mirrored Years' was memorable as well many many old masters' pieces. If you are a designer you must go just to see the 'coat track' which is like a merry go round, amazing and clever piece of mechanism, I'd... More

This museum is a nice compact museume with a good cross section of Dutch and flemish art including Bosch, Rembrandt, Van Gogh. It is well laid out in a mixture of new and old build in the Museumpark. It is not as overwhelming (nor has it the wealth of masterpieces) as the Rjiksmuseum in Amsterdam but gives the interested visitor... More
