The Boijmans museum is the biggest art museum in Rotterdam, it have a large collection from modern Masters to the present day artists. If you only come for the old masters then you will disappointed as other museum have a larger collection, but if you love all types of paintings then it have enough that is worth seeing. More

If you go to Rotterdam DO NOT leave before you visit the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. This museum was a highlight of my trip, absolutely brilliant. The early- to mid-20th century exhibit, with a spaceship-shaped 1960s house of the future is entertaining and worthwhile. However, the rest of the museum is a badly organised mish-mash of mediocre art and sculptures post-1970. More

I was so disappointed with this place. Starting with the opening time of 11am - do the staff have problems getting out of their beds or are they not aware that a morning exists?
