The Kunsthal does not have one permanent exhibit, but offers a series of various presentations through out the year. The Kunsthal has 6 separate display areas. We went to see the "DESIGNING 007 - 50 Years of Bond Style" (2 hours) followed by visiting "Two hundred Years of the Kingdom of the Netherlands" The Atlas Van Stolk photo exhibit (1-1/2... More

I'm a huge fan of avant-garde architecture and will defend the most unusual designs, but not this one. I don't mind that it looks like a factory, as does much of Koolhaas' work, but the sense of complete disorientation that this bizarre structure inflicts on the visitor is not conducive to an exhibition venue. Too much has been packed into... More

We read about this exhibition - Designing 007, 50 years of Bond Style - last week and were immediately taken with the idea. We were familiar with the Kunsthal museum in the Rotterdam Museum Park area. We spent two hours immersed in James Bond design. A wonderful tour with a lot of history, props and costumes worn by the actors... More

after reading about this exhibition we were very pleased having spent more than 2 hours walking around, viewing the clothes and displays of films scrips and items used in many of the James Bond films, well worth the visit. The museum opens at 10am and well advised to get there as soon as it opens otherwise it can be very... More

Parking is a nightmare. There are no signposts saying where it is, so you have to drive round and round trying to find it. Then it costs 2 euros for every 43 minutes. We stood in line for half an hour to get into the museum then it was 12 euros each entry. It was SO crowded, just a mess.... More

Nice setting, nice menu....it's a pity that the burger is cold. My husband ordered a quiche and it's tasty! Will visit again and hope it's better next time!

The layout of the museum is very nice. There are lots of different rooms with different exhibitions and I went to visit the James Bond one. I really enjoyed the exhibition because of the decoration of the rooms and well executed themes. I was a little disappointed to find out not everything that was showcased was 'real', but a lot... The building itself is a nice piece of modern architecture. Went to visit the designing 007 exhibition which was really good. Even for not James Bond fans you can spend quite a nice afternoon in the museum.

i've just been there, for the james bond exhibition. the bar and coffee shop are a perfect shelter from a rainy day, with warm and tasty meals - the museum is a modern piece of architecture by OMA, the local and internationally renowned practice.

Has often changing exhibitions (currently a decent James Bond one and some crap..) and has NO house collections or exhibit so you never see the same things here. Mostly they have quite a commercial exhibit (they used to be not state funded so they need to draw a crowd) Expect your visit to be rather short for Dutch museum and... More
