The building itself is a nice piece of modern architecture. Went to visit the designing 007 exhibition which was really good. Even for not James Bond fans you can spend quite a nice afternoon in the museum.

i've just been there, for the james bond exhibition. the bar and coffee shop are a perfect shelter from a rainy day, with warm and tasty meals - the museum is a modern piece of architecture by OMA, the local and internationally renowned practice.

Has often changing exhibitions (currently a decent James Bond one and some crap..) and has NO house collections or exhibit so you never see the same things here. Mostly they have quite a commercial exhibit (they used to be not state funded so they need to draw a crowd) Expect your visit to be rather short for Dutch museum and... More

The Kunsthal is a modern museum with changing exhibitions. This time we went to see the James Bond exhibition. As real James Bond fans we spent there an afternoon with memorable moments. We had a great time. The Kunsthal is a great bilding to see.

We were lucky to be there during an exhibition about 50 Years of James Bond Movies. Check out the man on the rooftop...

We went with a discount from Spoor, which made the visit very affordable. I wanted to see the James Bond exhibit because I'm a fan of movies, but they way it was set up made it interesting for my wife (not really into Bond movies) as well. There were some very famous and recognisable pieces from the movies, mainly props... More

I am not a museum kind of guy but this exhibition about the spy of the centuries is really worth full to see. It is a spacious setup to get an idea of the author, actors and a look behind the scenes of making James Bond movies. Nice exposure of the gadgets and beautiful clothing's of the actors. We were... Who for? Want to find out what's happening, how we're all gonna drown or what. That great Kunsthal offers a good 18 hours read in all five halls. Urban by Nature. Went outside, enjoyed the park.

I was really disappointed after visiting Kunsthal. Compared to every art museum I have visited in Netherlands, this was really poor. They had exhibition on shoes, which in my opinion has nothing to do with art. Mostly there were women looking at pretty shoes, nothing special or artistic about that. The Marimekko exhibition on the other hand was a bit... More

They had a great exhibition on Marimekko when I went which was so colourful and bright and fantastic. Otherwise I went there to see the architecture which is a must if you're interested in this field. The portrait of Rem Koolhaas (in a Chairman Mao-style) in the ramp corridor gave me a chuckle.
