Loved this trip. Easy to locate the boat and they go frequently. Reasonably priced too. Very good commentary in dutch, french, english and german, it shows you the sights with interesting facts. It lasted about 75 minutes. We have older children and they loved it but the younger children (about 7 and younger) that were on board became restless after... More

Nice way to see the harbour. If you sit inside, make sure you sit directly under a speaker, otherwise the commentary is difficult to hear and understand. Get there early otherwise you will have to queue up as the 75 minute trip cannot be pre-booked. We did a combo-ticket with Euromast - great value for money.

Did the 75 minute trip this morning. The boat is impressive and the refreshments are of a high standard but the bottom line is it's just not a very interesting trip. Having arrived at the Hoek of Holland by ferry several times over the years, this excursion really adds nothing to that experience. I'm sure the commentary was informative but... More

I always thought their boats were beautiful! Great view once you're on top of the boat. Drinks were very expensive but oh well. You get to see a lot of the big harbor we have in Rotterdam. I personally still love going on trips with Spido's boats. Staff is friendly and there's enough space for everyone to get a good... More

I took the extended harbour tour which is only offered on certain days. It lasts 150 minutes and does a thorough tour of the port from the Erasmus bridge to approximately half way to the sea. You'll see the boat traffic, container docks, ship building areas etc. Incidentally the Welcome Card discount is not available on this trip (only for... More

My husband & I took my mum on Wednesday 30th July on this boat trip as a birthday treat, it was a beautiful sunny day. We were very impressed with everything. We went on the 'James Cook' boat which was of a very high standard. We sat by a window with comfortable chairs and a table. The staff were very... More

Went on the Spido Harbour Tour with a friend. It's a must-do if you're interested in the history of Rotterdam as one of the largest port cities in the world. Even if you're not, it's still an interesting visit to a large habour which provided a great way to see Rotterdam. However, if you're the latter, I wouldn't necessarily go... More

The Spido boats are of a high standard. The top viewing gallery allows you to see the whole of Rotterdam in comfort. We passed under the Eramus Bridge, upto the the shipyards.. I'm a bit of a geek so enjoyed seeing the boats in various states of repair. The size of them amazes you. It isn't the prettiest of tours,... More

We took our 2 granddaughters on this tour so they could see one of the largest ports in Europe, where so much is unloaded and sent down the Rhine. Not very exciting, but interesting. It would have been better to have a real person speaking and answering questions but they use a recorded tour in several languages, hence it is... More
