Get a glimpse of how people can work with the land and water around them. Wear comfortable shoes for walking or biking. Bring a camera, Wear wind or rain protection and maybe a lunch or snack. Enjoy walking into the country side. This is not a short visit as you will want to just enjoy being outside. more

The windmills at the Kinderdijk is just a short ride from Rotterdam and it is a world heritage site by UNESCO. A must see on your trip to Holland. Additionally there is a windmill open for you to go inside and explore. more
