The tourist office in Gouda produce the most informative and attractive brochure we have seen in many a year. It whetted our appetite to view the longest church in The Netherlands - that sort of tells you the profit in cheese through the centuries. It is worth the viewing even if you cannot make the free concerts they sometimes have... More

This is the longest church in The Netherlands at 123 meters. The windows are the real treat here, the storybooks of the time for those that couldn't read. If you can, get a guided tour that will explain the window stories, symbolism, and various patrons included. Beautiful place.

Longest church in The Netherlands (123m) with amazing 72 stained glass windows depicting biblical and historical events from Dutch history. The two 20m high large windows are just amazing to see. The church itself is majestic. The audio tour is only €2 and well worth the investment. Appreciated the windows much more with very informative commentary. Extra commentary of the... More

This is a nice church it is the longest church of The Netherlands. But its glaces in the windows are the most beautiful glasses in the world. The original drawn designs are still available in the museum next to the church. I live in Gouda and are proud on this beautiful attraction

This church's gorgeous windows date from the 1500s! During WW II they were removed to protect them from the Nazis. The entire church, which is the longest church in the Netherlands, is being totally restored. It's interesting to watch the process. The floor is paved with tombstones. Well worth the visit!!

Great stories for this church and how all the stained glass was saved during WWII. A varied history as both Protestant and Catholic church. Take the audio tour. Fantastic art along with the glass.
