The audio guided tour was informative and enabled you to learn about the history of Delftware and tour the factory at your own pace. Fascinating to watch artists at work. Good cafe with a lovely outside seating area in an inner courtyard.

Very friendly staff.informative video and tour through the facility.worrisome that it is the last Delft porcelain factory.the craftsmanship is of the highest order.signed pieces were very expensive, which is to be expected.we liked the work of more modern designers, although there was not much of that.for the art to continue,I think they should give modern designs a chance.a definite to see in... Great way to spend an hour doing a self guided tour. The audio guide provides a good history of Delftware and the process of making the pottery itself. Includes a walk through the studios where the pottery is still being made. And you can't leave without buying a piece of pottery from there of course.

This factory took the porcelain art from the Far East and made it their own. Beautiful pottery and souvenirs although some of the originals are highly priced, take away something of the discounted or smaller items.

Good experience to know more about this famous porcelain, how to make it, the history of it, and so on. And after that, yes you can go shopping

I had learned a fair amount about Delft Blue ceramics from visiting an exhibit in the Rijksmuseum, but I was glad to learn so much more about the process and history of craftsmanship in Delft. The self-guided tour was nice, and all information was in both Dutch and English, with audioguides in many more languages. I was particularly struck by... More

We knew little about their products, and were pleasantly surprised to learn so much in so short a time. The employees are welcoming and kind. Watching them create beautiful pieces by hand was fascinating. The tour doesn't take long, but you'll leave with an appreciation of, and interest in, their lovely products and the care, patience, and skill required to... More

We reserved a workshop where we were able to "paint" our own piece. We got there early, had a nice lunch in the courtyard, spent time shopping in their shoppe, then took a self guided tour through the museum and factory. We then spent about an hour painting our own piece. They ship it back to the US for a... More

It was a very informative tour, understanding the history and the hardwork behind the beautiful Royal Delft creations. Every hand painted piece is an art and varies in design and color. From porcelain ware in yesteryear to the current ceramic, there is no compromising of the quality. After the introduction, we, 4 Singapore ladies began our shopping spree for pendants,... More

An interesting trip even for someone not interested in pottery/ceramics. We learned a lot about the painstaking effort each painter has to put in to come up with the final product, and to advance in their profession. It was interesting to learn the difference between the hand-painted pieces and those done with a stencil. You can see how these vary... More
