This Zoo is just amazing to visit with kids. It's not a very huge Zoo but they have all the animals you would like to see, like elephants, rhinos, giraffes, bears hyenas, etc. The really fun thing is that they have created paths over some of the animal quarters so you can see the animals from above, and then you... Always, we feel sad to see animals in a zoo. We are used to doing safari in Africa and to see the animals out of there natural habitat is sometimes painful. One zoo is better than the other and in Amersfoort it look slike te animals are quite happy. As far as we can tell. If you have no chance... More

A perfectly well maintained zoo. A nice collection of exotic animal all in a obviously perfect condition in a nice environment. Certainly worth while a visit for both children and older people.

It is a relatively small zoo, adults will walk trough in approximately 2 or 3 hours. For children you can fill a complete day. There are many attractions (play zones) to kill their energy (all inclusive :P ). Very animal friendly place as well, no small cages, but nice sized living area's all situated in a way that the animals... More

We have a summer pass therefore it is not quite expensive to visit for us. Every year we visit, it keeps improving. The last time we were there my children could enjoy visiting the elephant enclosure while learning a lot of interesting facts about these wonderful animals, while my eldest could enjoy the backstage of the dinosaur part of the zoo.... This not a very big zoo, but it is a very nice one. Thanks to the big trees in the zoo this is a very sheltered place, so even on cold and windy days it's lovely to go out for a walk in the zoo.

Quite expensive but well worth the money. Great small zoo with lots to see and do. Good food and drinks places spotted around the grounds. Good facilities for children and the dinosaur area is great for all ages.
