It's not so easy to find but when you finally get there, you'll not be disappointed. The musenm houses an incredible historical overview of ladies bags and traveling bags. It takes you from the past to the future. A must visit for ladies who adore bags!!!

It was a fascinating tour for someone who thought it would be a bore. Bags through the ages and some history to boot

Guys - this is not to be missed! Women love it, but I found it extremely interesting, too. Plus, the history of the house where the museum is located is very compelling. Make the time to go there!

Beautiful building located in a lovely part of town. I have no interest in handbags as such but the history and development of the bag was fascinating. A bag shaped like socks the cat has to be a favourite!

A marvellous place for whiling away several hours. From the first manbag through minute beaded purses, dangling chatelaines and 30 drawer shoecases to the latest designer labels, this museum tells so many stories. Each item is exquisitely displayed. The shop is also highly tempting.

We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who were very informative and helpful. The museum is full of interesting handbags but also lots of history about how they have progressed through time. Although it's not the biggest museum it is a good way to spend an hour.

This small museum is to be found in a beautiful old canal house so not only do you have the pleasure of seeing a marvelous collection of bags and purses but also you see a beautiful Merchant's house built I believe in the 17th Century with some magnificent decorations and interesting garden at the back. The café within is exquisitely... More
