INTERESTING: Lots of bags purses, etc charting through the ages of evolvement, lovely location tucked away on a side canal. The measeum expierience culminates in the 20th century with many designer items previously owned by the rich & famous, & of course the opportunity to purchase more BAGS in the shop downstairs.

On both our visits to this unique museum, the second in the past 13 months being yesterday, we were struck by how few men actually visit this well-worthwhile museum. I never realised just how much history bags and purses have! This museum contains an incredibly large collection of them all and I would recommend it to anyone who was looking to see something a little different in Amsterdam!

This museum is not big but well worth a look espeically for those of you who love purses and bags. The history of the bag and purses is fascinating and the different things they have on display is very unique. There really isn't anymore that I can add, that hasn't already been said about this museum. A wonderful collect of bags, purses, travel goods & accessories all displayed so well. My husband might have thought he was indulging me with this one, but the scope surprised us both. The museum included an incredible range of bags and purses, from pre-pocket men's bags to the current day's IT Kelly Bag, the baguette, and so much more.
