My boyfriend and I spent a whirlwind three days in Amsterdam. This tour was the best thing we had done! We had spent a day walking around the city and thought we had seen everything but the tour showed us so much more! Matthias was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgable and interesting. I hadn't ridden a bike for a... More

Matthias was a great guide and very knowledgeable. We were lucky to have a small group and enjoy a micro brewery beer together at the end of our tour.

Dont rent a bike in Amsterdam! This is a lovely place to walk around, stopping by every now and then doing window shopping or just for a snap. Renting a bike is expensive and they strongly recommend you to pay for an insurance in case your bike is stolen. This, plus the worry of where to park, makes it a... More

We are one of the cheapest rental places in Amsterdam. If you do not like the freedom a bicycle gives you then you should perhaps not have rented a bike. Many people who come to Amsterdam like enjoying becoming a part of the bike culture. We are sad that was not the case for you. I guess some people should... More

We had fun - good introduction to the city upon our arrival. Just be reasonably fit and able to adjust quickly to other bicyclists, cars and changing lights. In other words - be comfortable with city traffic! We toured with Mike's here and in Germany.

I actually took a bike tour with Mike's Bikes in the summer of 2014. I remember that I had a long layover and decided to venture out into the city. It was raining and though I had not booked a spot for the tour, I decided to find the shop and join the tour. Because it was raining so hard... More

I had Alec for the City Bike Tour, and he was great! Our group of nine (including Alec) spent about three hours cruising all of the sights of Amsterdam from the well-known to the just plain interesting. At the end we all biked to a local pub for a drink :) Great way to spend an afternoon in the city.

A tour with Aaron at Mike's Bikes was our first activity in Amsterdam. It was a perfect intro to the city and Aaron, having lived there for decades, was able to give us a knowledgeable tour with a great Californian vibe. He knew so much and really connected with our whole family. This tour really set the tone for our... More

I visited Amsterdam for the second time in early December 2015 and decided to book a bike tour at Mike's Bike Tours after reading about them in my Lonely Planet guidebook. They sounded like a fun bunch and the kind of place I'd like to be. I wasn't wrong! Mike's Bike Tours is full of fun people who have brilliant... More

This was an easy and enjoyable way to cover a lot of ground in Amsterdam. Jeff, our guide, shared some very interesting stories about Dutch culture. Well worth the time.

I booked this bike tour to see the city as have been on them before and they really are a great fun way to see many of the sights. My husband and I did the tour with tour guide Sam. He was friendly, funny and very knowledgable. Despite the weather being very miserable, we were given ponchos (good thick ones,... More
