Favourite place in Amsterdam. Amazing beer choice which constantly changes. Fantastic staff who are keen to recommend beers you might like (give tasters etc), even when it's busy. Even if you can't get a table it's fun to sit at the bar and soak in the atmosphere. The cheese/meat boards are delicious too. And try their Jenever, again a specific... More

Wonderful place to meet nice people and drink great unusual beer. This got rave reviews under restaurant category, which is quite misleading, as there only cheese plates available. BUT beer, room, people , and bartenders were great! Go for the beer and the vibe.

It's a normal looking bar with a great beer selection. We sat down by the canal, which was very nice. It's located in a great scenic neighborhood. The prices are good for a bar with a good selection.

Always worth a visit to the Arendsnest when in Amsterdam to try out a wide choice of Dutch beers. Be prepared to have to wait to get served.

Very good choice of draught beer and close to Jordaan which is the prettiest part of Amsterdam. If you can sit outside then even better.

As long as you like beer, cheese and meat. OK, and genever. If none of those float your boat, best look elsewhere. Great service, a really nice place to chill for two or three hours over some carefully selected brews and a cheese plate. Never mind pre-dinner, this was dinner for us, as we were so comfy there was little... More

We had an hour or so to kill before dinner and came across this pub. It serves 40 dutch beers on tap and many more in the bottle. Initially, the sheer choice can be off putting but the helpfulness of the staff in recommending what you'll enjoy soon overcomes this. It's not the most comfortable pub I've ever been to... More

Lots of biers to choose from!!! The place is small, prob only seats 50 or so, so be prepared to stand but it's worth it to try a new bier. They also have fritz-kola which is delicious!

We visited on a very busy Saturday evening. Most of the revellers were locals (always a bonus in Amsterdam!). There is a beguiling amount of Dutch beers on taps, and even more in bottles. We stayed for four drinks and each was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the beers by Emellisse. All true beer lovers with enjoy this place.
