On first look I was going to give this exhibition a miss with the entrance fee being so pricey however 17 euros is not bad for something I ended up really enjoying. The artwork, made from lego bricks, by Nathan are amazing and the extensive creations were mind blowing, making me feel quite nostalgic about the fact that all of... More

I took my sons to this exhibition this afternoon. The website for ordering tickets needs a serious look at by some professionals. The usability for the ordering process is horrible. But the exhibition is very nice. It made me wonder how much was sponsored by LEGO and how much was paid for by the visitors, but still. The work of... More

If you have kids who love Legos, this is a can't miss! We have a 7 and 9 year old, and they both loved going through and looking at all of the exhibits. And my husband and I loved it as well. So impressive what he is able to create out of Legos- our favorites were the stained glass window,... More

I enjoyed the Pixar exhibit. I really liked the Titanic exhibit. Still there's always this annoying feeling that this establishment is solely focussed on making a profit. The gift shop is insanely overpriced and you even have to pay money to use one of the obligatory lockers. Also the athmosphere of the entrance lacks soul. Only recommended if you're really... More

Dear Timbertius, Many thanks for your review and great to hear that you enjoyed the Pixar and Titanic exhibitions. We do all we can to bring world-class travelling exhibitions to Amsterdam, time after time again. Exhibitions that wouldn’t be hosted in our country otherwise, as they are too expensive for museums. Amsterdam EXPO is a non-subsidized venue, which means that... More

Excellent expo for all ages. Take away message: art is everywhere. And shouldn't it be that way? Lightning was impressive, but sometimes a bit off, especially with "Mask".

I personally loved it . It's easy to get there from the centrum of Amsterdam ( tram No 5 , get off at Zuid Amsterdam , WTC ) . Audio presentation is very good and the art work is great . There is a play area for kids at the end of the exhibition .

I came here to see the Art of the Brick exhibition, which is great in itself, but the Expo is a great venue for such an event. Easy to get to, good restaurants nearby, it's all good.

On holiday in Amsterdam we seen this advertised and decided to go one afternoon. At €38 euros for two of us it took only 45-50 mins to go round. Sure there are some good pieces with Lego but this is extortionately priced. Upon leaving felt slightly ripped off. This should be at least 50% cheaper to be more accepting as... More

Hi Evievi123139, That was a quick visit! I hope you did the audio tour to get all the background stories about the brick artist Nathan Sawaya. To get some insights how he built his beautiful LEGO artworks, how he became a brick artist and to see the timelapse videos of the building process. Usually a tour with the audio guide... More
