Returned to a gig at the Paradiso after 33 years. Loved it at 21, still love the venue at 54! Interesting architecturally, brilliant acoustics, and a fun crowd of all ages. Its good to find a venue like this still going strong.

Absolutely great club , but it gets very hot and crowded. Watched there Bombay bicycle club and must say the sound was really really good. Bars in good location, indoor smoking area just not enough toilets. Very lively and friendly atmosphere.

In Amsterdam for the London Calling Festival at Paradiso since our son's band (#wildchild) was playing. What a cool venue, in a great location ... Phenomenal stage, awesome bartenders, great sound. This 1500-capacity (?) room manages to feel intimate and has excellent equipment which is expected from the cities premier music spot, I guess (though it's not always the case!)... More

We originally were drawn to the area by some of the other clubs (Chicago, Milkweg), but the lines were too long so we went here instead. It's a huge venue with tons of floor space, so even though it was very busy inside, it didn't feel like you were crowded in like sardines. Decent music with a mix of top... More

I've been to Paradiso quite a few times and pretty much all of my experiences have been positive. I have to say that I've only been there for concerts, never on club/dance nights or whatever. First of all, it looks gorgeous, both on the inside and outside. It used to be a church building, but it appears that its true... More

We saw Michael Franti at the Paradiso which was an awesome concert in the heart of Amsterdam. The venue is pretty cool and a lot of musicians have played here so a neat experience to see a concert if one is playing here while you are traveling through. One thing to know ahead of time, they make you pay a... More

Once i went in it had some live gig playing. and another time it was a club night. The staff at rude at entrance and on cloak room ( though i have never seen a polite... More

Amazing place for late light live music party animals. Not exactly my usual timeframe but we just had to go because the London Calling festival featured an Aussie rock band called The Delta Riggs. It was 2:40 am and to our surprise was fully packed with revellers. Individual and crowd behavior was surprisingly good and the atmosphere was lively but... More

Great venue, so much history and great bands (though they used to book better bands in my opinion). The only truly negative aspect of this venue is the staff mainly the security staff, they are often very rude. And it has been like this for years, that's very unfortunate. The prices are okay. And their website is very messy.
