Starting in the sixties, Paradiso did help "launch" many famous (inter)national pop bands such as The Rolling Stones. Like The Venue in London, Paradiso is THE place the experience good and new music. They have a nice cafe too where you can chill and meet people. Have a nice time!

I love "live" music and this place is perfect....capacity level is notso as you are squashed as its a centre for culture and non profit making, hence I got to see Paloma Faith in "comfort" in an intimate place that the artists love to play for tat reason, it was a church hence sound is lush....so forget the O2 and... Have been to see a couple of concerts at the Paradiso, it is small, ornate, accessible from the city centre, with a reasonably priced bar and wherever you are, you are close to the stage. Highly recommended!

Superb venue. Rather small and cosy. Went to see Kraftwerk Jan 16th 2015. Free toilets, paying vestiaire (1.5€).

Returned to a gig at the Paradiso after 33 years. Loved it at 21, still love the venue at 54! Interesting architecturally, brilliant acoustics, and a fun crowd of all ages. Its good to find a venue like this still going strong.

Absolutely great club , but it gets very hot and crowded. Watched there Bombay bicycle club and must say the sound was really really good. Bars in good location, indoor smoking area just not enough toilets. Very lively and friendly atmosphere.

In Amsterdam for the London Calling Festival at Paradiso since our son's band (#wildchild) was playing. What a cool venue, in a great location ... Phenomenal stage, awesome bartenders, great sound. This 1500-capacity (?) room manages to feel intimate and has excellent equipment which is expected from the cities premier music spot, I guess (though it's not always the case!)... More

We originally were drawn to the area by some of the other clubs (Chicago, Milkweg), but the lines were too long so we went here instead. It's a huge venue with tons of floor space, so even though it was very busy inside, it didn't feel like you were crowded in like sardines. Decent music with a mix of top... More

I've been to Paradiso quite a few times and pretty much all of my experiences have been positive. I have to say that I've only been there for concerts, never on club/dance nights or whatever. First of all, it looks gorgeous, both on the inside and outside. It used to be a church building, but it appears that its true... More
