Grear performance

We visited "Mary Stuart". Great play, well performed in a great theatre. Apart from having a bit bad luck with our chairs, everything was very well organized.

Went for an evening of sublime Bach cantatas, shaped into a touching scenario by Director Katie Mitchell. The theatre is beautiful: historically grand but vibrant too with bars and a restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. A wonderful evening.

Recessed windows and steeples give the building a classical look while the tan/orange color of the exterior accent the building nicely. De Stadsschouwburg is Amsterdam’s Theatre for Performing Arts and while... More

The Lasagna and Ravioli plates we ate were ok but slightly salty. My wife was shocked seeing a mouse rushing through the restaurant looking for food droppings on the floor.....

The City Theatre for Performing Arts in Amsterdam is centrally located in the city. It's close to numerous restaurants, bars, pedal boats, the casino and much more. We watched a ballet performance of Scapino from Rotterdam. It was called 'Le Chat Noir' (the black cat) and it was fun. The theatre building is beautiful, especially the inside. There is also...
