Beautiful park close to the Rai station, Novotel and Holiday Inn as well as Amstel river. Full of surprises, good for couples, families with children or joggers. Great way to relax from the busy city. As a bonus there is a windmill (Riekermolen) next to the southern park gate.

This is a great park in Amsterdam, there is a lot of art that's spread amongst the park which is awesome. There is also a train you can take if you don't want to walk. Great for everyone!

A bit south off central Amsterdam and well connected by tram (number 4), metro (number 50 and 52) and train, you can find a wonderfully kept garden which offers a quiet moment and an opportunity for children to play and enjoy themselves. I work near the park so I go there every lunch time for a couple of years now... More

A terrific park on the periphery of Amsterdam - it is huge, with many different activities for people of many different ages. There are several different areas of that you can walk; a huge playground in one area, a human maze, a miniature golf course, waterways, and paths throughout every area that are mostly reachable with strollers and wheelchairs. There... More

This little park at southern Amsterdam is very cool. It's well maintained and full of surprising elements all over it. If photography is your thing, you're definitely going to love this park :-)

I'm afraid I'm ruining the place for the locals, but if you want a nice, relaxing park, without the hordes of tourists - this is the place. Forget Vondelpark! No bikes to rent around, so the park is less busy. Try the little cafe by the lake, with the overwater deck. The omelets are pizza-sized! My 2 year old girl... More

What a lovely park to walk through, very clean and well kept. Clear pathways and lots of open space, pet friendly too which is amazing. Lots of sculptures and full of plant life, indigenous and exotic species can be found as well. Amazing ponds with water features and plenty of ducks quacking away makes this a peaceful walk and well... More
