We really wanted to go to a jazz club and had seen that this particular one had a good reputation. It is quite narrow, and when we arrived it was already packed. This was to be expected though and so we just sat at the bar. Drinks are average price (E5 for beer, E9 for gin and tonic) and we... More

The place is small, that alt crowd would probably refer to it as "cosy". But, it is seriously small: the bar is inaccessible on a Friday night, a seat near the very back is considered a luxury and certainly don't think a jumper on a February evening is a good idea in this place. But, the interior is nice, the... More

The Alto Jazz Bar is about 40 foot long and 10 foot wide. It is really intimate . We were treated to a 5 piece band who played really well and only 5 euros entry on a Saturday Night. The band were called More Bop and played some excellent standards. The price of a pint of Amstel and glass of... More

I was there on Tuesday evening and experienced a very pleasant evening with live latino music. The band resembled the ones from Havana streets - playing really well and having a good contact with the audience. A few couples were dancing, but it was enough to fill the small dance floor near the bar. Music, people and internal decoration of... More

It's a small pub with little stage that gives a great show and tasty beer! we've been there every evening (3 in total) and we enjoyed every one of them.

Stumbled across this place on a Tuesday night after dinner. Great atmosphere in a small intimate pub. Live jazz band seated down the back had the place buzzing! They were really fun and had everyone in the pub dancing and singing. Bar staff still managed to take drinks orders from tables and make their way through all the people salsa... More

It was good quality solid jazz. The atmosphere in the cafe is great, very friendly. although this is not a big place. I definitely recommend... More
