Very complete zoo, a bit old, but this is its charm somehow. 20 € for a nice tour around all the world animal species is worth if you like animals, of course. However if you love them you will feel cross about the small room for some of them, Nice places for butterflies and gorillas.

being my second trip to Amsterdam I decided to visit the zoo again. The zoo is massive and full of greenery and picnic tables. Its a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It took us hours to walk around and the animals were amazing and so close. It also has an aquarium and... More

This Zoo is huge and contains almost every animal you can imagine. Unlike other, smaller Zoo`s, you might end up doing this as your only activity one day. My personal favorite was the mountain leopard!

A nice zoo in Amsterdam. If you are visiting on Sunday, there is a free tour guided by volunteers. The zoo is renovating different spots, but there is still more than enough to see.

The Artis Zoo was under going some refurbishment so not all attractions were available. Generally the sign-posting for the animals was easy to understand and the information at each enclosure was clear and concise. the Aquarium could use some seating dotted around for the disabled or ederley. The highlight for me was the Asian elephants, especialy the youngster who must... More

Reasonably priced and not over busy. It's a zoo so don't expect a safari park, but some good areas to learn and watch.

This is a great zoo but I was surprised to be charged 16.50 euros for a 3 year old child. Then to be asked for anther 2 euros for a map! No one likes to be charged for extras on top of a steep entry fee. Lovely zoo but at that price we'll make it a single visit.

I enjoyed this. The aquarium is the clear highlight, as with the reptiles but not the worst zoo I have ever been to.

Great zoo full of lots of animals to see. There is a reptile house, insect house and an indoor butterfly garden - all of which means it is still a nice place to visit when raining. My only issue with this zoo is the same as with all zoos and is that I just feel that it's wrong that we... More

Someone had told us it was small, i don't know if they had been to the same zoo, because it is anything but small. I loved it, so much so we got annual passes! You have to make the time to visit here, it was fantastic!!!!!
