First time in a Madame Tussauds museum? go for it! otherwise if you've been to ny\london\paris\etc they are pretty much the same.

This was our last excurtion of our 3 day holiday in amsterdam. Its was funny and we enjoyed ourselves taking pictures with famous charactors, ones you don t find anywhere else. Its a must to go at least once if your are visiting amsterdam.

It was very average only a few of the wax works where actually good. (Jonny Depp and Nicolas Cage). It seemed over priced considering you made it round in less than half an hour. Wouldn't go back nor recommend.

We walked by this attraction. Decided not to go in based on price. We went to the location in Las Vegas. Pretty cool

Its must visit place if you are visiting to Amsterdam.....Try to reach early in the morning if you going on weekend...otherwise you will face huge crowd and long queues.

We had so much fun it. Figures looked very much like the real stars and most of them are well-known. This version is even better that they have in london.

Visited Amsterdam Jan 2013. Madame Tussaud's is at Dam Square, so its easy to find. We bought a combo ticket for here and the dungeons, saving a bit of money. Good fun to visit and a great view from the top.

Too expansive and too much waiting all in all. For first time in Madame Taussauds my expections were abit too high. Not my cup of tea so to say. Amsterdams Dungeons is more prefered.

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
