I went there and I loved everything about the museum, the statues, the tour inside, the history about each serum statue inside the museum is just beautiful. It is set a place to visit while in Amsterdam

Visited this attraction in November last year. Queued for approx 20 mins to get in as didnt opt for pre bought tickets. Personally did not feel it was worth the money. Felt the tour was confusingly laid out and that there wasn't enough displays for the money we paid.

We went there 2 time with our friends, and the second time they had some celebrities switched which was nice, i recommend getting tickets from an agency (there are plenty) they can give you a discount if you buy more + you have priority which is really usefull if you don't want to wait too long

Went to Madame Tussaud's a few years ago in LA - thought it would be interesting to take my partner for the first time in Amsterdam. Even with a korting it was still €16ish each - took about 30-45 minutes to go through but so many people in there at the same time made it not so enjoyable. Wasn't worth... More

My wife and I found it all round too expensive for what we got. It is well kitted out for people to take photos with the wax models and there is provided photo ops available too at extortionate prices if you choose. Alot of the wax models were Dutch specific so not of much interest to us. Overall it's OK... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
