The rest of my family had been to the NY attraction, so I was the newbie. Very average & very expensive. We took our time, took lots of photos, and we were still finished in an hour. The other family members said it wasn't as good as New York. 25% of the figures did not resemble their real life counterparts.... More

We had some time to kill so we went here. It was my first time ever in a wax museum and it seemed rather small. Probably won't go to another wax museum again; just doesn't interest me. They do let you touch the wax figures though.

I would advise to go later on in the day to avoid the busyness, but great trip and fun to take pictures with everyone, was great, and the staff spoke a multitude of languages

The usual celebrities in wax. Cost money. Not impressed. Located on Dam Square. Time better spent in this "full of attractions" and "things to do city"!

We saw this attraction from quite a distance away as its such a huge building you cant miss it. The queue was very long so we waited & went early the next morning & got in straight away. The price for both of us was 40 euros so not cheap & this was a discounted price as well. You go... More

We visited Amsterdam 21/08/2015 - 23/08/15, we decided to go here on the spur of the moment just for something nice to do. We noticed a very long queue at the side of the attraction but went to a little shop called 'tours and tickets' who gave us tickets there and then and we got in through the fast track... More

Boyfriend was super excited but was disappointed when we left. He thought we would be there for a couple of hours but I think in all... We spent 30 minutes there tops? We even found the staff to see if we skipped a section. It is so full of people during the summer you're standing in line to get in...... More

We go there to have fun. There will be always somebody who will say that figures are not ideal or looks old fashioned but who cares. We just go there and make good fun with all the celebrities. It's good to go there on regular day not weekend which could be really crowdy. I advice to buy ticket in tourist... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
