First time in a wax museum and I can't believe how much fun we had. We were nervous at first about taking pictures but after the staff assured us that it was okay, we went nuts. Awesome props and everything. Well worth the money!

Went in here to while away an hour. Waxworks are what you would expect, not as good as London version which is bigger and has a taxi ride within it. This one was quieter so you actually get to get some photos with the waxworks. Look out for attraction leaflets scattered about the city which have discount vouchers on them.

Quite liked the props and who could miss opportunities for photos with Oprah, Kylie Minogue and the President. Only dislike was the amount of kids screaming about the place otherwise 5 stars.

my first time in madame tussauds and it was brilliant I booked a ticket instead of waiting in the cue but I would possibly book your tickets first before leaving because it is expensive front he tourist information centres.

My husband and I really enjoyed this museum, almost as much as the London sister museum. We spent a long time there and had great fun taking photos of us with Marilyn Monroe, JFK, Dame Edna etc. Also have a look out the big window in the Ladies toilet.........................magic. Well worth a visit....to the museum and the toilet!!!

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
